👍🏻 Great food and atmosphere. Large menu with big portions
We went there for the first time yesterday and we loved it. The food was very good and authentic (well my recipe of Red Cabbage is still better) but it was very delicious. Great Atmosphere!
Very disappointed in my meal. I ordered the Sauerbraten and it was absolutely inedible. The meat and Spatzle may have been ok but they were covered in a terrible SALTY gravy that ruined them. It was like someone mixed salt and water then added some gravy for color ... terrible!!! Also who puts cucumbers in a Greek Salad? Mine came out and was 50% cucumbers. I won't be back.

Hollerbach's German Restaurant offers delicious food and a lively atmosphere. They are known for their gluten-free schnitzel and gravy, live music, and good service. The restaurant caters to dietary restrictions and has kid-friendly meals that come with goldfish and gummy bears. Visitors can also explore the market that sells Nuss schinken and Tilsiter cheese, making it a great destination for those in Downtown Sanford. Customers praise the authentic German cuisine, with some saying the Red Cabbage recipe is still better. The schnitzel is considered one of the best ever. The staff is attentive, and the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, including the option to bring your dog. Parking can be tight, so arriving early is recommended. Visitors should also make sure to try the currywurst mit pommes and the Ruben sandwich, with some enjoying the Bienenstich as well.
