“My family and I visited Shima tonight for my birthday. It was a very special night. We have been to Shima before and it has always been great. Tonight was no exception. We had Chef Laysel and he was terrific. (Note: All the chefs are great). Nicole helped to make it even better, as she always does. Overall, there is simply no better place to eat on Sanibel.“

“The quality of the fish was excellent. We were surprised how few rolls there were that did not have the fake crab in them. We like more traditional raw sushi. The rolls we did order that were fully raw were very good. As was the sushi itself and the Zulu shrimp.“
