“Bricks BBQ in Sarasota was an unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed by our waitress, Sasha. She was incredibly sweet, with a bubbly personality that made us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot-on, and thanks to her, we had an amazing meal! The food was outstanding—true BBQ perfection. To top it all off, Carmen Forte Music set the perfect atmosphere with some fantastic live music. “Cannot say enough good things about this place. Had amazing conversation with Charlie him and his wife work tirelessly to make this place spectacular. 1st time visitor, turned into regular customer for the foreseeable future. “My husband and I are in Sarasota looking at houses. Perry's is less than a mile from our hotel, so we gave it a try. OhEmmGeee. I almost couldn't wait till I finished my meal to leave this review. It was incredible! We had the chicken, brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and baked beans. Not too heavily seasoned, smoked just right. I grew up in the South, I've had a lot of BBQ in the last 50 years. Perry's is by far the best.“

“I took a friend there for her birthday. Food and service were both excellent. The restaurant itself is noisy with loud music blaring through the speakers. This in turn caused loud people sitting next to us to be even louder. Because of the noise we were unable to carry on any sort of meaningful conversation. Would have stayed longer for dessert and coffee but went to my house instead to do that in peace and quiet.“

“This Longhorn steakhouse on Fruitville Road is one of our go to’s when we want the best mushroom appetizer in town, and the bone in ribeye is not to be missed. They have one of the best chicken dishes in there Parmesan crusted chicken and they also have excellent choices for side dishes. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. They make sure your eating experience is very enjoyable. I highly recommend if you’re in the area to stop in checkout their very vast menu, I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal there.“

“Wow, this place is absolutely amazing. Stopped in for take out on a Friday at 5. I went for the first time , now, I am addicted! Starting with the super nice young man taking orders, super patient and happy to explain everything on the menu to all who asked. Even with the line forming, he made each person feel like they were the only person in line. I ordered 2 meals with 2 meats, 2 sides and cornbread and 2 desserts. I loved it all, The pork, chicken and ribs were excellent, we had Mac and cheese, slaw and greens as the sides. The greens were my absolute favorite. On to the desserts.... we got both of the bannanna dishes. They just started making a new expresso , mint, bannanna dessert. The chef made it and brought it out for me to taste before I even left...I am in love! Looking forward to going back for Brisket. This place is such a great locally owned restaurant, go give them your support.“
