My daughter & I flew down to Sarasota from Connecticut & stayed nearby. We saw Crager's across Tamiami, did a Uturn & found ourselves so happy with this great restauranr!
I personally enjoy these small home cooking type diners. Nothing glitzy or flashy. Simple yet comforting. The coffee is strong which I prefer. The waitress offered excellent suggestions and was attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed during the breakfast hours which made the dining experience a positive one. Reasonably good breakfast but at a too high price. One bacon and egg plate, one bacon and egg sandwich and two coffees...$34. Add a $6 tip and you're going for a $40 breakfast.
