“I had a doctor’s appointment nearby so my hubby and I stopped by to grab some takeout brunch. We usually frequent their other location on Wickham, so we wanted to try out their OG location. I got the FGT Benedict and hubs got the penny stack. Backwater makes the best Benedict I’ve had. It’s so filling and tastes amazing each time I get it. I also love their ambience and decor, very quirky and on brand. They also seem to have the best darn bacon I’ve ever tried. ?Nice and crispy ?. “Just had breakfast there today and it was a great experience. The owner (Raul) greeted us at the door and welcomed us to the diner. He also followed up with us after our meal. Wendy waited our table, not only did she provide great service, she was an excellent communicator. The breakfast was cooked in a reasonable time for a Sunday morning, was delicious and priced fairly. 5 out of 5 recommend you try La Loma for breakfast some time.“

“Literally the best cfs I’ve ever had. Everything we had was amazing. We all got something different due to it being our first time and wanted to make sure we got to try a little bit of something. “did Roots change hands? wife brought home my usual and it's just not the same. it's like every corner was cut and who ever was cooking today said f-it. this looks like doh food. send it. over cooked dried out eggs. some strange potato wedge things that were over cooked on the outside and mush in the middle. how do you even do that. I get the same meal every time the wife goes . I actually had to ask. did you really go to roots. couse WTF is this!!“
“Ethel & Fred’s is our “go to” local diner, especially on Sunday mornings. We moved back to West Melbourne about 11 years ago and found this gem. Their food is homemade and yummy, their staff is exceptional, and the prices are still easy on the wallet. We especially love their banana pancakes, NY breakfast sandwiches, burgers, chicken pot pies (only on special), and my daughter LOVES their turkey club (packed with turkey).It’s a diner, their decor is not fancy, but it’s clean and their food and friendly atmosphere and waitstaff more than make up for that.I wish I had more pictures ✨⭐️✨ “

“Great food, service and atmosphere. It’s a bit noisy but still comfortable. We ordered the Ham and Gruyere Cheese Melt even though I don’t know what kind of cheese that is. It came hot and tasted good. So did the Cheese and Broccoli soup. We also got 1/2 Roast Beef and Havarti and Superfood Kale salad. We realized this food was actually delicious. Suzanne was an outstanding server. We are going back, and so should you.“

“I haven't been to an IHOP in more than a decade because I have a gluten sensitivity. My friend wanted IHOP so I figured I'd have to watch him eat pancakes. Our incredible server, Stewart (yes that's the correct spelling) told me that IHOP HAS GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES! They are cooked on the same grill but it's a dry grill and they will wipe it down. I cannot tell you how happy I am! I got to have fluffy, tasty pancakes that did not cause a reaction. And Stewart was the best waiter I've had in a long time. He was attentive without being annoying, he was just as sweet as he could be and anticipated our needs at every turn. He should be working at a fine dining restaurant but he's just so damn personable I don't know that I would want to let him go.Breakfast was exactly how I asked for it with dry scrambled eggs, everything was spot on, Delivered timely and again, Stewart is an absolute treasure.This location is at the entrance of the Brevard Zoo so stop by, have brekkie AND ASK TO SIT IN STEWART'S SECTIONDietary restrictions: THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES“
