“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

“The pizza is so delicious and I love the thin crust. However the middle was a little undercooked this time. But overall the food is very tasty here. We had the roast beef hoagie, fries and thin crust pizza.\nThe store lighting however is very dim and it always looks closed from the outside. Lighting makes a restaurant appealing and inviting. You can barely read the menu at the register because of the poor lighting. The bathroom could use an update.“

“Fettuccine primavera had a good blend of vegetables, including squash. Sauce seemed buttery and homemade. There was a bit of spice but nothing overbearing or offensive. Bread and salad was good too. Food was still hot when delivered by Doordash on bike.“

We have been here a few times and we order it with shrimp or blackened chicken. The portions are American Italian so you will have some to take home. The house salad is also excellent. The Italian Margarita is a refreshing drink after a few hours in the burning sun.“

The food was excellent but even if it had not been, the service was so exceptional we would not have noticed. I called him the ghost server. Every time I would start to ask for something it was already on our table and we never saw it delivered. If you want exceptional service ask for Hiram the next time you eat there. You will not be disappointed.“
