“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

I don't even know where to begin, the garlic knots I can't stop buying them every few days I just have to have them in the house I have them when I have a salad or if I'm in a hurry and I have a microwave dinner it turns it into a real meal. the pizza is the greatest in the entire County and the meatball sub I can't get enough of them. I'm so glad they reopened. they were previously in Rutland Plaza for like 30 years. so happy I can finally get a good pizza again. actually everything's really really good but I always seem to order the pizza ,garlic knots and meatballs sub. my mom loves the Italian sub, the bread is good.“

“Was not used to or prepared for the crust. I was educated on what Chicago Pizza truly is by a native LOL it is a very thin crispy crust, but it is not like a New York City where you can pick up a piece of pizza and fold it in your hands. It is very crispy it was still pretty good“

We have been here a few times and we order it with shrimp or blackened chicken. The portions are American Italian so you will have some to take home. The house salad is also excellent. The Italian Margarita is a refreshing drink after a few hours in the burning sun.“

The food was excellent but even if it had not been, the service was so exceptional we would not have noticed. I called him the ghost server. Every time I would start to ask for something it was already on our table and we never saw it delivered. If you want exceptional service ask for Hiram the next time you eat there.
