“AMAZING!!!! consistent Mexican baked goods that come out fresh several times a day due to high demand. Lines out the door sometimes. My kids and husband have grown up on this place. The employees are do helpful and friendly ever time! And for those us who don't speak Spanish well, they speak English also and are very welcoming.“

“This was our first time here. We started with the queso and refried beans appetizer along with the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were terrific, homemade, and the salsa had a perfect amount of heat. We enjoyed the house margaritas during happy hour, obviously homemade and tasty. The queso with homemade pico and beans was delicious, a creative dish. My husband had the chicken chimichanga and I ordered the three birria taco dinner. The chimi was stuffed with the freshest of ingredients and my tacos overflowing with birria beef and cheese nestled in house made tortillas. I'm not lying when I say the side rice was the best I've ever had in any Mexican restaurant, bar none. The service was spot on, she was attentive and helpful, guiding us expertly through the menu. We sat at a high top four top near the bar. I'd only say they could have music playing with some lower lighting but either of these took away from our meal experience .Pierson has a diamond in this restaurant and we highly recommend it.“

“As an out of towner, I was introduced to El Amigo and was blown away by the authentic Mexican food. The tacos al pastor were amazing—the homemade corn tortillas brought them together perfectly. And the guacamole was delicious! Prices were very reasonable and portions were generous. The woman who waited on us was kind and professional. Definitely returning!“

“Great tacos at good prices. The American style flour tacos were filling and loaded with cheese, cream cheese, lettuce and tomato, and the Mexican style corn tacos had lots of cilantro and onion. The meats in the tacos had lots of flavor. Had the asada, campechano, shrimp, and chicken tacos, and next time we'll be trying the waitress's suggestion of tongue.“
