“El Tequila is a little taste of Mexico. I highly recommend stopping in. They have delicious food, great service and an authentic Mexican feel. Fresh warm chips and salsa. The guac is chunky, not baby food mush. Good music, it’s a good time.Vegetarian options: Burritos, tacos, quesadillasParking: Large parking lot around the entire building“
“I've been going to the Ridgewood Taco Bell ever since I was a little boy.Shoot out to Taco Bell Joe; he's a very compassionate, personable guy who hasn't changed in over 25 years! He has very good energy, and he helps uplift my spirit when I'm having bad days. The rest of the night crew is always awesome as well. The manager, Ben, is really professional, too, and makes sure I always get what I need. The food always comes out fresh and tasty. Thank you, Ridgewood Taco Bell, for providing quality customer service as well as affordable yummy food. ?“
“I haven't been in Ormond for long but tried this place on a whim and it has been hands down one of the best food experiences I've received the food is delicious and authentic the atmosphere is very family like my only complaint was that I didn't find this place sooner 10/10 I will be back you guys just made a “
“Monarca Mexican Cuisine & Tequila Bar in Ormond Beach is the best kept secret in town! Their mouthwatering dishes are made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor, not to mention their beautiful presentation. If you're looking for a delicious Mexican meal, this place beats out any other restaurant in the area.“
“This is a great mom & pop place that I order from regularly, usually every other week. I highly recommend the mofongo and porkchop. You can not go wrong with the tacos or yummy burritos either. They've always gone above & beyond to accommodate little food requests like no dairy.“
“While enjoying New Smyrna Beach atmosphere, you can eat absolutely delicious Mexican food. The fresh guacamole was very favorable and I know my steak chimichanga was sooo good. Waitress was very attentive. Definitely will be eating here again!“
“We were surprised to find out the margarita's BOGO .was a high way robbery. First We order Choose 2-3 combo. Both of us,wanted to buy 2 choices.. The waiter (Jessica)corrected us 2 burritos & 1 enchiladas. She was not ready to listen Well we decided to bring it to the hotel. Before she brought the bills she brought 2 more margaritas. I did tell her. We only order one set. Now she forced us to take out. Don’t make fool of the tourists.“
“Best bar in town. Brooke is amazing. Always attentive and cares about all the customers. We randomly stopped by several months ago and Brooke made us feel welcome and like valued customers. The whole Dahlia Port Orange team is amazing and we have been regular customers since. Go stop by and have some fabulous drinks and food!“
“Nice hidden Mexican restaurant above Boston fish house in NSB. Great live music, staff there take great care and are very knowledgeable on the menu items! I myself love Mexican food but am not to good with the menu so they helped me find what I wanted! Also they have the BEST free homemade tortilla chips I've ever tasyed!!“
“1st time here, got the shrimp, rice & beans dinner w fried plantains-excellent-& so much food, had leftovers. Friday night, but only waited 10 minutes for my dinner, & waited 3 minutes to get served. Will definitely visit again !“
“Had fantastic Mexican Tacos and Tostados! Heard about this little gem in What's Happening in Daytona, went for lunch with my sister and we loved it! Lived in Key West for 6 yrs and Chiquitas was just as good as KW's best places. Also had the Latin music videos on TV...and not the usual top 10 radio blaring...definitely had the Latin flare!! 5 stars for sure!!“
“Our first time here on vacation but will return if we happen to be in the area. Food was very good. My wife got a variety of tacos and I got some fajitas. The margaritas I got were made strong and tasted great. Chips and salsa were bangin as well. I also got some Mexican street corn, f'in awesome. Very neat decor and I'm terrible with names but our waitress was great, on top of everything but also gave us a chance to eat.“
“The food is delicious and it's served piping hot. The staff is friendly, courteous, efficient, and attentive. The portions are generous, to say the least. Compared to restaurants I'm used to dining in, the value is unbeatable. $$. If you don't want a high bill at the end of your meal, then avoid buying alcohol. Drink prices are high, no matter where you go... unless it's an Elks Lodge, etc. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Fun place to hang out and grab a bite. Great Mexican food as well as, well prepared fish and other eats. Staff is always friendly. Music is good, mostly rock type stuff. TV for the sports person. We've gone here many times since we discovered it. ?“
“I've lived the past 25 years of my life in Phoenix, AZ, so I've been spoiled by some of the best Mexican food. It was nice to find something worth my money...finally! A delightful visit with my hubby....we will definitely be back and split a very large breakfast burrito and enjoy the hospitality and care. We shall see you on our travel route between Ormond Beach and Daytona.“
“(As a gringo), this and it's sister locations have the best Latino / Cuban / Mexican food around. The food's rich in flavor and the portions are just right, the atmosphere is quaint yet family-oriented, and the employees are always nice. One dish I get a lot for breakfast is their Huevos Rancheros, and with sides and coffee it comes out to ~$14, which is certainly worth the price.“
“My GF and I came to this restaurant after the beach. It was a very cozy atmosphere inside. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I got the Señor Burrito and my GF got a quesadilla. We also split a chips and queso. It was around $10 each. The portion sizes were very good and the food was tasty (especially after being at the beach). I would definitely recommend to anyone I know to come here. Next time I am in Daytona, I will be eating lunch here again!“
“This is for far our favorite place!!! This time we were celebrating our anniversary and stoped by Dahlias to have brunch before going to the beach. As always they didn’t disappoint. Food and drinks were awesome ?. Service 10/10, Alfred took care of us and the manager Daniel make sure everything was on point. 100% recommended!“
“A sign of the times but portions were smaller. I haven't been in about 6 months and the steak salad was half of what it used to be. Other than the downsizing the food was the same. Excellent! as was the staff. Outdoor seating available and one lady had her dog outside“
“Tasty food, homemade tortillas, good green sauce too, however an in-house of enchiladas usually has a side of chips and salsa. Caring staff, yes! On the table, hot sauce with preservatives. Little things make a difference.Dietary restrictions: Desirable Home-style cooking ought to be preservative free“
“This is the best mexican food ! I have ever had! The taste is amazing! Had the patron margarita. One drink and I am done! We had the burrito California and quesadilla bonita ! The best i have ever had ! Ask for the spicy salsa! This place rocks! The flan was amazing and complimented the meal. This place made both my husband and I smile even after receiving bad news about my health! We will be back often!“
“Amazing food, drinks, service & location. Authentic flavors. Service was top notch. My Paloma was one of the best I've ever had. The dishes are huge!! Could feed multiple people. If you are looking for authentic food with a cool vibe this is the spot.“
“All I can say is thank you to the staff for helping make my son's birthday party successful. We had a last minute fail on the food option for the party. We called and within two hours the food was available. This took the stress off the day so thank you. I feel you get more than what you pay for, good food and service. So grateful for the experience and for making the choice to use Tijuana Flats. (?Feb. 2024)“
“I went to look up the hours they are open and was shocked to see that they only have 3 and half stars. The only bad reviews are from 2 years ago and are mostly about the quality and pricing of their alcohol. This is a Mexican restaurant and I get it "bar" but, I do not drink so I guess I am biased in my opinion. The food is always good and the service is fantastic! Is not everything ridiculously expensive? If you love Mexican FOOD and great staff you can not find any better than here.“
“This place was good! Party was big. Burritos are HUGE and full of meat and rice and deliciousness. I got tacos because I love tacos. The Carnitas was the best of the 3. The Al-Pastor was ok, and the Asada was lacking in flavor. I'll try a burrito next time I go. My bride and oldest child loved theirs. Had Victoria beer. Very nice. First for me. If you're in the area, I'd stop to try it out!“
“Delicious food with lots of healthy options! And their drink menu includes some unique offerings that will be very much welcomed by tequila & mezcal connoisseurs! The service is friendly and I always feel comfortable here, whether alone or with friends.“
“Food was excellent! Beware though, the prices on the menu aren’t 100% accurate and you won’t find that out until the bill comes, other than that, the food was fresh and tasted decent. Portion sizes were reasonable too for the price! Overall definitely recommend, also don’t forget to sign up for the email notifications with a spam email or something so you can get some free guacamole!“
“A friend took me here for my birthday dinner. It was packed with people, not a empty seat in the place. There queso cheese dip is so good. Tacos are great and all produce was fresh. Service was fast and friendly. My friend said it wasn't authentic Mexican food and he was a little disappointed and wasn't impressed by the food but I loved it.Vegetarian options: They have no problem customizing a order to your liking. So I see no reason why a vegetarian couldn't enjoy a meal here.“
“Food was great. Service not so much. It was not a language barrier, I communicated in both English and Spanish and my orders still managed to come out wrong. Meals didn't come out together even though we ordered at the same time, so we had some people in our party waiting while others ate. 5 issues with my meals in the same visit. Not ok.Kid-friendliness: Reasonably priced kids menu.“
“On a little quest to find my favorite chimichanga. This one was filled with chicken, beans, and cheese - and I mean stuffed with cheese. Actually too much cheese within it for me. It reminded me more of the taste of a quesadilla. I wish the inside had less of that cheese, and that it was covered in a queso sauce. The chicken was delicious and very good quality, so massive points there. Overall, I enjoyed eating it, but would not go back and order again. We also ordered chips and queso for the table, and that was fantastic! Highly recommend adding that to your order.“
“Monica the food runner has stepped up and been our bartender back in February then she stepped up again tonight when the bartender went MIA for over 45minutes. She is the best energy and an amazing bartender. Thank you Monica for saving the night!!! PROMOTE THIS GIRL TO BARTENDER“
“Play my first time finding this restaurant most Mexican restaurant did not change your order wants to place it. My mother-in-law ordered something and thought it was something else and they were kind enough to switch it out for her. The food was authentic and delicious.“
“This is our second time here and again they did not disappoint..this is now mine and my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant in Ormond Beach (so far). The food is delicious, the service was great, and a nice relaxing and chill atmosphere. I had the Super Burrito ? and a taco ? and my husband had the La Bandera Super Burrito ? and a taco ?. As well as the BEST Queso and tortilla chips ?“
“Mexican Restaurants are my favorite places to eat, especially for the first time. Agave is no exception, the festive atmosphere, excellent service and cordial atmosphere are all here. I would give a five star, but my seafood enchiladas had very little seafood in it. A few dices up shrimp pieces (about 6 morsels, and maybe some stringy crab meat, I think), and as disappointing as that may seem, the margaritas are excellent, and the Bartender's attitude, still warranted four stars.I highly recommend this place, but not so much the seafood enchilads.Timbo K.“
“I met Amber today, she was giving out free samples of Horchata, Hibiscus Tea, and for the life of me, I can't remember the food item. All of it was absolutely delicious. Amber is such a sweet girl. I definitely recommend this place! 5/5.❤️❤️❤️“
“I'm not a big Mexican fast food fan, but my friend wanted to go here. I ordered a veggie burrito, and I could add things like cheese, olives, cilantro to the original recipe for free. For $9.99, the size was mediocre, and the taste was good, but not great. What added this 4th star to the review was the manager. He was very friendly, welcoming everyone in, and made sure everyone had what they needed. He jumped right in when the person checking us out did not know how to give us the free drinks they said they would for Moe's Monday and another didn't know exactly how to make our food. Because of the manager's quick intervention with his workers, the line moved fairly quickly. I saw him wiping down the drink and salsa bar several times. When I asked for a bag to bring the rest of my chips home in, he asked if I wanted more chips, and proceeded to fill up the bag for free. The chips are served hot, thin and crispy. The strawberry lemonade had real strawberries in it, not just artificial sugar water. The salsa/sauce bar is the best. Unlimited sauces like a variety of salsas, spicy mayo and a Moe's creamy cilantro sauce. This would not be my first choice for lunch, but I wouldn't mind coming back again.“
“It's a 10/10 for atmosphere on trendy interior color schematics and seating. Host greet & seat was immediate, and quick arrival of our server was much appreciated. Arrived during lunchtime - we were presented with two menus: one for lunch + beverage specials plus the standard menu. Nice was there were few duplicates allowing for more entrée options. Plated presentation was on point and appealing, My entrée was the Green Verde Burrito and it was a packed blend of shredded carnitas, cilantro lime rice thickly drizzled with ribbon overlays of green tomatillo sauce and sour cream topped with pickled red onion. Definitely would order it again. The Dahlia didn't skimp on dinnerware either -dishes were heavily weighted with an artistic border design. Walking in, the lighted bar is to the right, in its own section separate from the large dining areas. Both sections look to be a good space for large parties/holidays. Ample parking in the parking lot of the massive Daytona One complex.“
“My daughter and son in law had their belated wedding reception here last night and it was 100% fabulous! The food, the service..all AMAZING! I'd like to thank Nick who was our personal waiter for the amazing service and kindness he showed us all!! Also the new Papa of a baby girl (he knows who he is) for making sure everything went smoothly for his father and his new wife. I had never been to Clancys but I will be BACK! So impressive!! Thank you!!“
“Limited menu, mostly takeout, but they do have a dining room. The burritos are huge! Very good! Very mild, but we did just move here from NM and we are used to hot chile on everything! They have a wide range of fillings, we got birria. Flavorful, not what I would call spicy. They do use a lot of cumin and cilantro which is good! CiIantro is optional. I would definitely recommend Moe's! Download the app and you'll get rewards and offers.“
“The food here is always delicious. Fresh chips and salsa to start. Burrito Loco is enough food for 2 meals! Chicken and rice bowl is the perfect meal for my nephew who has stomach issues. I tried the chicken and spinach enchiladas for the first time and they did not “
“This little gem reminds me of the nice little cafes we visited in Cuba and in Mexico. The atmosphere is lovely with some nice music and bright colourful walls. It gets a little busy around lunch time which tells you how popular this place is.The owners are super nice and helped us pick some good breakfast items for a quick bite. Definitely will be coming back to try their lunch and dinner. Don’t forget to order a cafe con leche.“
