“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“Went in a Friday night over the Arts Festival weekend. They were busy, but staff seated us fairly quickly. We ordered a veggie pizza - it came out huge, hot & delicious. The veggies were very fresh, the crust was not too thick or thin & it had the right amount of cheese. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. We feel like we picked a great place & wish we had more time to go back & choose one of their Italian dishes!“

One of the few places I've seen serve uni too, though I think it's not always on the menu. Beautiful interior though the space is a bit cramped. The few times I've done dine-in the service was excellent (I go 2-3 times a month for takeout) and the food quality is always very consistent. I haven't been able to pry myself from the sushi yet to try, but they also have a full habachi menu if that's more your thing.“

“My family stopped in today before we caught a flight home today. My aunt and uncle live in Mount Dora and visit there often. My mom and I were visiting from Saint louis Missouri and was our first time there. I really wanted to give a shout out to your waiter that was working this morning around noon!! He was a superstar running around like crazy today. He was taking orders, seating customers, and cashing out customers. There was only one cook and one busser/dishwasher. Apparently 2 people had called in sick and he was so busy he couldn’t even call for someone to come in to help him. The crew this morning definitely deserves a raise. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names. But they all did a great job.“

“I've lived here for 12 years and had never gone in because the building from the outside looks like a fine dining restaurant, meaning you would get dressed up to go there. My friend took me there because she wanted to get a gyro and said that they had good food and good service. When I walked in I couldn't believe it!!! It was so casual in the setting was like a pizzeria. The service was excellent, the food was excellent! They do sell pizza, specialty sandwiches, spaghetti and other items. I had the lasagna, because that is my ultimate favorite dish. It was awesome! Prices are very reasonable. I can't believe that I've overlooked this little gem of a restaurant. “We had such a wonderful experience at Robinson Family Restaurant! The beef liver was perfectly cooked — so tender and flavorful, which is rare to find done this well. The bulgogi was absolutely amazing and incredibly delicious.

The portions were huge and very generous, making it such great value for the quality and taste. You can truly feel that they cook from the heart. The food tastes homemade, comforting, and full of care.
