I'm sure that's some kind of fire violation, if there's an emergency but your patron can't get out of the bathroom b/c the door lock is broken, you've got big problems! Get your bathroom door fixed!“

There was live music. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar was lively and happy. The waiter was very likeable. The food was very good. I ordered something where I needed to replace the rice with vegetables and it was no problem at all. At one point one of the managers came over to apologize for something that was just fine, and he was very personable as well. I felt welcome and look forward to going back.Dietary restrictions: One of the seafood dishes only came with rice. They happily substituted in vegetables for the rice.“

It was so good that we planned on returning two days later but realized that they are not open on Mondays, we were sad. “Hubby and I had our second visit to Don Giovanni’s in Ormond Beach on 10/18/2023, and it was better than our first visit (if that is possible) Now we are hooked. I had chicken franchise and hubby had chicken Marsala. Both were wonderful. Chicken was so tender and both sauces were outstanding. I can’t say enough how good the bread is, just so fresh and delicious, salad is large and cold. Now, let’s talk cheesecake! We had the strawberry cheesecake….well, nothing like we ever had. The crepe lasagna is now one of the top three meals I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. It was tender and flavorful without being soupy or turning into mush, as so many lasagnas do. I will point out that our food took a while, however in this case that's not a downside.This restaurant is the kind of place you go for a proper multi course dinner, not an eatery that tries to serve as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.
