“If you’re shopping, grabbing a bite, running errands, or catching a movie in Southwest Ranches, chances are good you’ll end up at Coquina Plaza or its sister plaza next door, Sheridan Shoppes. I stopped by recently to grab a cup of coffee and was impressed by the convenience.

Located just off I-75, Coquina Plaza was built in 1998 to serve the growing population in rural Southwest Ranches. The plaza is anchored by a Publix, making it a go-to spot for everyday essentials. Other tenants include Lowe’s, Hair Cuttery, Pak Mail, a pediatric dentistry office, Ashley Homestore, and Liquor Mart. Food options are varied, from Blue Ginger for sushi and Japanese cuisine, El Sarten Latin Buffet, Little Caesars Pizza, to Subway.

The plaza strikes a nice balance between practical essentials, casual dining, and smaller shops, making it easy to get errands done without driving all over town. For the Southwest Ranches community and visitors alike, Coquina Plaza is a reliable, convenient, and practical destination.“

“Extramost Bestest pepperoni with crazy bread on the side is always a good opinion from Little Caesars. This location is nice inside, and easy to find too. No tables, only pick up at ghis location. 2 liters available in the drink cooler too.“

It was 7/8 of our first time there & we were surprised at how good it was.

“I had such a great experience here tonight. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with the calamari, which was cooked perfectly—light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The garlic rolls were insane… honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. We shared a house salad, and it was huge—definitely big enough to split. Everything tasted super fresh, and the balsamic dressing was perfectly drizzled and flavorful without being overpowering. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta. I’m pretty picky about marinara sauce (and I’m Italian, so I hold places to a higher standard), but everything was completely on point. The flavors, the sauce, the portion—just really well done. What made the experience even better was the owner coming over to talk to us. She shared details about the food and the restaurant, which made it feel really personal and welcoming. They also host special wine tastings at the end of the month with a curated menu, which I definitely want to come back for. We didn’t try the pizza this time, but I already know I’ll be back. They offer thin crust and even a deep dish that you can order ahead (about an hour in advance), which sounds amazing. It’s a smaller place, but it’s cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be back—and next time I’m saving room for dessert (if I can stop myself from eating all the garlic rolls again).“

And delivery on time have the pleasure of their combination dinner couple eve ago. Ordered small but that was too much for me to eat..for lunch is my Italian sub.. and some marinated mushrooms that really hit the spot.. Everytime I order it's hot, fresh and Delicious... “When we arrived around 5 p.m. on Saturday, it wasn’t busy at all. Our waiter was nice and attentive, even though the food took a long time to come out. I don’t mind waiting as long as the food is hot, and thankfully it came out hot and tasty. I had my side of the pizza without cheese, and it was still delicious 😋. My son said his pizza was delicious too 🍕😋. Oh, and the shrimp salad 🥗 — trust me, I would definitely eat it again!

The wings were okay. I would’ve preferred the lemon pepper seasoning cooked into the wings, but their signature flavor was still good. The garlic rolls were okay as well.“

“Great food and extra special service. Our waitress Meloni was exceptional. The general manager Adiel was also fantastic. Any time we are Ft. Lauderdale we always stop here. We have never been disappointed.“

“Pizza Heaven in Weston absolutely lived up to its name. I placed a takeout order and were incredibly impressed from the moment we opened the boxes. Everything tasted fresh, the ingredients were top quality, and the portions were unbelievably generous.

And the calzone — WOW! It was absolutely packed with ricotta and Parmesan, perfectly prepared, and incredibly satisfying. They definitely don’t skimp on the fillings here!

You can tell they take real pride in the food they serve. Great quality, great value, and delicious from beginning to end. Pizza Heaven has definitely earned a spot on our go-to list in Weston. Also, love their Loyalty Program. Highly recommended.“

“Antonino's Pizza & Fritanga has quickly become one of my favorite spots! From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a family-owned business that truly takes pride in what they do. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, clean, modern, welcoming, and thoughtfully decorated. It has such a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal.

Now, the food... WOW!!!! You can actually taste that everything is made from scratch. Their pizza instantly reminded me of the neighborhood pizza places we used to go to back home in Puerto Rico, and that nostalgia alone won me over. The Shebang Wings are my new favorite they're sooo good! The Chicken Alfredo Pasta is creamy, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza is straight fire.

It's not often you find a place that nails both the food and the experience, but Antonino's definitely does. If you're looking for incredible homemade food, great portions, and a beautiful atmosphere, this is the place. I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!“

“Wow! So I have had my fair share of Italian food growing up with a family in New York and this place gives the best of what I have had a run for its money. Did take out last night and got home to discover some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. The sauce is outstanding and they don’t skimp with it. I love a very saucy veal parm and was nervous that the online ordering did not have an option for extra sauce. I was very relieved when opening my order that I didn’t need it. Can’t wait to eat in person because the restaurant has an extremely cozy and intimate atmosphere. Don’t sleep on this place. Head over now!!“
