“Just had lunch here this afternoon, ordered Kobe sliders, could have gotten a better burger from Mc Donald’s,ordered med rare, they were well done, server said it was hard to judge, all three of us ordered the same, just it was hard to judge 9 little burgers, will not order again, the fries were great!!“

“I stopped off at a Local Restaurant in downtown Stuart Called The Gafford and this is there story. Elizabeth and I were very excited to open our restaurant in Downtown Stuart. After years of visiting our parents, our hearts led us back here each time we considered a different location. Our son Taylor (our Executive Chef) and I, both have a culinary education and all three of us are extremely passionate about quality food, drinks and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoy taking great care of our guests. “the Gafford” is named after my grandparents who taught us how to enjoy life, have fun and laugh (especially at ourselves). My grandfather was in the Air Force and hospitality business all of his life and taught me so much about business, cooking and hospitality. He never met a stranger and always had a great story to tell. I can remember when I was young visiting my grandparents on their farm. My grandfather used to teach me how to grill. My favorite dish to cook together was a giant Ribeye steak. On our menu, that is our signature item and we call it “the Gafford.” It’s an 18 oz. bone-in Angus Cowboy cut Ribeye, just like when I was young. My mother and grandmother gave me my tenacity and work ethic; they were great role models and taught me the importance of having high standards and being fair with everyone. In my 30 + years in the restaurant business I’ve learned that the most important part of business is people. My goal is to take great care of my staff and you as my guest. Elizabeth, Taylor and I hope that you’ll come see us and give us the chance to show you our Southern Hospitality. I started with a glass of freshly brewed Sweet Iced Tea. Look at how beautifully dark and rich the flavor of that tea was awesome. It hit the spot for me. My server Abigail was prompt and super friendly. She was on top of her A game tonight covering a lot of tables and didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Gafford. Look it up on the main menu. This is a 20 full ounce bone in Ribeye. It came with a homemade from scratch Mac & Cheese and Green Beans. NOW, they change up the Mac & Cheese from time to time and tonight I got a spicy one. (Now to be fair here I'm not one for very spicy food. So, to be fair on my scale from 1-10 this was a 7-8. But for a person who normally eats spicy stuff I'm going to guess around a 2-3ish.) So, as you can see, I couldn't finish it. TOO HOT for me. But the flavor was very good. The meat was cooked to Medium, and it was right on the money. Thanks to Chef Taylor and his talented crew. The unsung heroes of this fine establishment as well. I also know that everyone's preferences are different when it comes to Steak tenderness. I like my Ribeye firm not mushy overly tenderized. This was nice and firm, not chewy in my book. To me it was perfect. As you can see in the photos that I took the meat was a nice light pink in the middle perfect Medium for me. I hope you all enjoy the photos and the short video to kind of give you a feel for The Gafford. I give this place 10 out of 5 stars! Plan to come down here and visit this family-owned business.“

“We always love coming here this is our go to place when we don’t know what we want to eat. Everything from the service to the food is amazing - a bit dark inside but that’s what a pub is like! Get the raspberry chipotle wings, you won’t be disappointed! A great place to go, listen to live music and watch the game.“

“I've gone to Maria's for years. Food is, in my opinion, fantastic... although I'm not crazy about the beets either.. the fruit is awesome.. Go to a medium small place like this on the weekend with a large group and you'll 'always' have to wait or go to McDonald's for 'fast food'. Service is, for me, very good to excellent. I'm not affiliated with Maria's in any way and recommend it to most everyone..“

“Small little bar inside the Marriott Hutchinson Island resort. Decent food selection. Bar seating and high tops around the bar overlooking the pool. Joseph was our server and he was a nice guy. Chicken tenders were really good. Dipped them in buffalo sauce. Prices weren’t bad.“

“I was reading the reviews...Open Table Diner gave Talk:House 2 stars because it was and older crowd....SERIOUSLY???? We just got home from enjoying one of the best dinners we've had in a while. Now, I'm a liver and onions type of guy, well, they had the best liver and onions that I've ever had. Cooked just the way you want it, AND a huge portion! We went and it was early bird special time. We thought that the portions were going to be a little less then the regular menu....WRONG!!!! HUGE portions of liver, bacon, onions, beans, broccoli and asparagus along with a nice garden salad, top off with a wonderful cheesecake. 2 Thumbs up!! Going back!“

“Wow, what a VIBE! This family owned and operated dining establishment offered it all… An eclectic menu at an affordable price! The food was both delicious and served just the way I asked for it… And I’ll add, that I’m not always the easiest customer to please. They have earned my business and I recommend everyone add it to their list of must tries while visiting the Stuart area!“

“It’s been a while since I could say this about this location.. don’t know if it was short staff or a rough patch. but today i can say great job yall my food was delicious cooked perfectly not dry not to moist not burnt but perfect !!!! I got buffalo chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks more like mozzarella branches which were delicious as well I would say those could have been left in the deep fryer for maybe 1 more minute for extra crunch but honestly not bad excellent job yall keep it up staff and special thanks to chef.!! First Watch in Stuart FL has never let me down for brunch. Not on the service or the food. Fresh and delicious dishes served by friendly and competent, friendly servers, in a clean and comfortable restaurant.

“Fantastic food! High Quality and Fresh, you would expect to pay much more. The food is going to draw a crowd, but this place is too small to handle the success, and it may cause them to struggle when they are busy. It's best to visit on their slow days. Great Outdoor location makes you feel like you're at the beach. We had Philly Steak, Frys, and some coconut rice thing. All was outstanding. Oh, and parking is a bit of an issue.“

“I reserved a party for 9 women to celebrate my friend!s birthday and they treated us so well. The soup is done fresh every day.. they allowed us to bring our own cake. The host was so nice; the server brought everything on time. I have nothing bad to say.

“We chose to venture off road during a southbound trip to the Everglades and went to Flanigan’s in Stuart, FL. Well worth the trip! The atmosphere was fun! Decorated in St Patty’s day style (but I am not sure if that was for the actual holiday - which was days away - or year round) is high was great! It smelled like a tavern & food as soon as we entered. Actually liked that! Our server, Mel, was great and the food was fantastic. Between the four of us, we tried their ribs, strip steak, dolphin sandwich (Mahi Mahi) and shrimp. Every plate was delicious! Beat coleslaw too! HIGHLY recommend!“

“This Marriott wasn’t built yesterday and the years are showing. But it’s clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff absolutely loves rocks! They were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve encountered in some time! It’s a great value and I’d definitely go back!“

“I have been going to shrimpers for many years. This was my second bad experience. Tonight we waited for our meal for over 1 hour. We told the waitress that we were going to leave because of this. The manager then came and stated that the meal would be ready in 90 seconds because it still needed to “bake”. We were done and fed up. We told him that we were leaving and to not charge us for the meal. He did not charge us for the meal but did not apologize or show us any quality customer service. I was very disappointed. It was our mother’s birthday and we were trying to celebrate this special day with her.“

“We had a party of 10 Matt was our server and he was excellent..very little wait for anything we needed..food was also very good as usual, when we were done with dinner we went out to the Tiki bar and we had a very non attentive bartender.. apparently we were not regulars so SHE didn't feel the need to wait on us until we flagged her down ..and when she did it was like she was doing us a favor..it's not like we were looking for special treatment but at least acknowledge us when we want something..my personal tab between inside and out was $300+ and our whole group was very friendly and generous until that..I owned a bar for 11 yrs and her attitude would last a couple weeks at best..“

“I've only been here twice, but both times have been very enjoyable. The food has been consistently wonderful, and the portions are very generous. Great prices and great atmosphere. Reminiscent of an old Florida seafood shack, but up to date and very friendly for all. Highly recommend. Great smoked fish dip!!“

“Cheesesteaks are delicious! Brownies are too! Chicken ceasar wrap was meaty. However, we got our order to go and the fries were ice cold. Everything else was hot. Just a lack of attention to detail with the ?. Not super cheap, but not ridiculously overpriced either. 2 sandwiches and a soda with (cold) fries $31 and change.“

“I have a new restaurant for everyone to consider! I stopped by on my way home. I've been meaning to stop at Tidehouse for a while now. So, today was the day. So, I ordered the Bleu NY Strip, medium with mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli Al dente. As you can see by my pictures, the meat temp was perfect. My server Britnee was quick to make sure the order was prompt. When it arrived, it was hot, and the meat was tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes were fresh and not boxed and very tasty. The broccoli was slightly crisp and full of flavor with a slight taste of garlic butter. I do believe. So, the meal was a 10 out of 5. My compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The manager on duty Lexy stopped to check up on me. I guess I was moaning in delight over the plate because it was so good that caught her attention!“

“Burger and fries wo on point my chocolate shake was not very chocolate tasting. Ill say that a drosty from Wendy's had more chocolate flavor. I have been going st year's and the shakes seem to be getting flavorless. My wife got the Nutella shake and weak in flavor, and it's was the same guy who has made 80% shakes in the past. Not sure if corporate saide let's save money on the shakes. Not a great idea corporate. Other than that food was great don't change that aspect please. Would have had more stars but I need flavor in my shakes.“
