“I recently visited Pummarola and had a pretty good overall experience.

One thing I really liked is that you can watch them make your pizza right in front of you. They prepare it fresh, slide it into the oven, and it’s ready in about 7–10 minutes. While we were waiting, there were several to-go orders being called out, which shows it’s definitely a popular spot.

The food is fresh, which is a big plus. I ordered the veggie pizza, and while it was nicely made, it was a bit bland — it tasted mostly like tomato sauce on dough with just a few vegetables. The chicken pizza we ordered had more flavor and was more satisfying overall. Prices are reasonable for freshly made pizza.

The restaurant has colorful, Italian, pizza-themed décor that gives it a fun atmosphere. There’s outdoor seating available, and free parking in the shared strip mall lot, which makes it convenient. They also offer pizza-making classes, which looks like a really cool experience.

One thing to note: if you need to use the restroom, you have to exit through a back door and walk down a hallway shared by other eateries in the strip. You’ll need a code to access the bathroom door.

The staff weren’t overly friendly, but they were kind and efficient.

The last time I was there, I was sitting at the bar, and my server was Ksenia. She’s incredibly outgoing, kind, and polite, and she does her job exceptionally well.

Ksenia is always happy to give great recommendations and help you choose the most delicious dish when needed. She truly creates a positive atmosphere and makes every visit enjoyable.

I come here often and have tried almost the entire menu — everything is consistently delicious. There’s something for everyone, and no one leaves this place hungry.

“After a fiasco with our first pizza vendor eight weeks before the big day (and two days before the venue’s deadline), Piacere Pizza saved us! The catering manager, Jiselle, went over the top, even working through Labor Day weekend to make my daughter’s dream wedding reception a reality. Our venue required vendor approval, and she was on top of that at every stage. Her communication throughout was excellent. Most of all, the food! Wow. Gourmet pizza (Tartufo and Pepperoni hot honey), special burrata salad, rosemary focaccia appetizer, Nutella dessert pizza. A roaring fire in the mobile pizza oven. “I went to Home Depot today to buy some seeds for my garden. A lady walked up to me in the parking lot. She was so nice and handed me a flyer with a QR code that said order now. She told me please try this pizza he’ll deliver to you and it’s better than New York City pizza. He’s from Italy. I wanted to laugh and say no pizza in America is better than pizza from Connecticut. That is where I am from. I lived in Miami for 7 1/2 years and I have not found any pizza place in Miami that I like. Well let me tell you I decided to order the two for one special margarita.. This restaurant is seven blocks away from me and I am so happy to know that I have finally found a restaurant that makes pizza to my liking! “I had a lovely enjoyable evening with my date. The food was good the service was fast the menu variety was pleasant. It was a little warm inside because they had the doors open ceiling fans running but that's not the best idea when it's 83 degrees out.

“Ever since Bar Bucce opened, it’s been my go-to for casual and quality Italian food. I’ve been several times, each one different than the last, and I think that’s one of the best aspects of this place. You can go on any given month and get a new experience. You can go a different month than last and get a new specialty pie with a bottle of wine, you can want a “smaller” evening and grab a pasta dish and a cocktail from the bar or fridge (big fan that they carry Tip Tops), and even just enjoy any event they seem to be throwing now as of recent.

I love the versatility of this space, and I love the fact that every server and employee I’ve talked to has been genuine and kind. While I continue to learn their names, big shoutout to Dale, my girlfriend, and I had the pleasure of meeting him last night, and he hooked us up and had us leaving with big smiles.

If you come here, make it a mission to order whatever specialty pie they have (need that pizza alla norma to come back), order the 24-month-aged prosciutto with some crucolo, and get any of the wines they suggest. End your night with some gelato. I still need to get back here to try the cannoli.
