“I’m not a big fan of writing reviews but I had to let everyone and corporate know about my experience with my server/cook TYONA. I came in ihop at 3:15 am with 5 of my friends . She greet us at the door and sat us down and then she took our orders. When she brought us our food I ask her something about the food and she told me that she cooked the food. I said where is the chef? she said she don’t know where the chef is and she’s been calling him and he’s not answering. who ever the chef is, he need to be fired because he was no where to be found. Why would that man leave her in the restaurant by her self that late. She did a really great job tho. The food was great and well seasoned and she was very polite and sweet. She deserve a raise! Doing all that work by her self is crazy. Other people came but didn’t stay because she was probably taking too long for them but I have to say for her to be greeting the guest,taking their orders, cooking the food and serving them, she did a really great job.“

“La Corte Café in Fort Lauderdale is one of those places you walk into once and immediately know you’ll be back. It has a calm, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The first thing I noticed was how welcoming the staff were. They greet you with real warmth, not the forced kind, and they actually take the time to explain the menu if you seem unsure and build a personal relationship with every costumer.

The food is what really stood out to me. Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they put real care into the way each dish is made. I ordered their empanadas and a cappuccino, and both were honestly some of the best I’ve had in the area.

“Java & Jam is a local coffeehouse on Las Olas that also serves all day breakfast. Although I don’t drink coffee, the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha drink featured outside is really what lured me in. The atmosphere was chill with both inside seating and a covered patio area.

I ordered the Tri Color Quinoa salad along with the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. When my drink was brought out, I could not wait to take the first sip. However, I found the matcha flavor to be light and the glass was filled with about 1/3 of ice. Also, my drink was not garnished with the chocolate bar as depicted and when I enquired, I was told by Kelly (our server) that they were out of garnish. Also note that there is an upcharge for alternate milks (oat, coconut & soy).

My salad was brought out promptly (15 mins) and it looked great and tasted even better. This mediterranean inspired combination of lettuce, cucumbers, chick peas and feta cheese dressed with a cilantro and tahini combination was truly delightful. It was fresh and refreshing at the same time.

Overall, Java & Jam is a great niche find on Las Olas, especially if you’re craving breakfast foods after the usual breakfast hours.“

I have to say hats off to our waitress, Nisa, and the cook. She was a wonderful waitress and stayed busy cleaning the coffee area and food counter as well as keeping her eye on the customers. “I went to have breakfast with my husband at this IHOP and I must say from the moment we walked in we received superb customer service.
Lysette greeted us at the door and sat us. It was a bit cold inside and when I asked if I could speak to the manager to have the air turned down a bit, she obliged. That’s when I met Ortice. He was very kind and accommodating and made the temperature inside warmer. Lisette also moved my husband and I to a space in the restaurant that was known to be a bit warmer as well.
The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious and service was prompt. We had special requests and all of them were met. I’ve been eating at Ihop for many years and most times my food requests are not right, but for the very first time everything that I asked for and everything that my husband asked for we received.
I will always come back to this Ihop to eat and recommend it to anyone else. Ortice is doing everything right at this spot!!!!“
