“Stopped at Shake Shack at Sawgrass Mills and here are two pieces of VERY valuable information before we even talk about the food.

First when you walk in, IGNORE the line for the kiosks. With all the tourists and people trying to figure out the ordering screens, some of them look like they’re taking an algebra final. 😂 Skip the chaos, walk straight to the counter, and order from one of the staff. Much faster.

Second, FIND A TABLE IMMEDIATELY. They give you a numbered table tent and bring the food right to you. This place gets PACKED. If you see someone getting up, move quickly, grab that table, put your number down and claim your territory. Otherwise you may be enjoying your burger standing up.

Now the important part: the food.

We got the Avocado Bacon Burger, West Coast Chicken Sandwich, fries, and an Oreo shake. Everything came out quickly and was seriously delicious. Burger cooked perfectly, chicken sandwich was excellent, fries were on point, and that Oreo shake was ridiculous.

For a fast-food joint, Shake Shack absolutely ROCKS. Great food, fast service, and definitely worth the stop while you’re at Sawgrass Mills.

Just remember: skip the kiosk line and secure the table. You’ve been warned. 😂“

“I just left and people need to understand just how amazing these guys can cook. They thought they over cooked my onion rings so they came to the table with another order! I didn't complain! Why? Because I love my onion rings like that but he is just an awesome employee! My son feels the same way about his burger and fries. We both ordered the CEO WAGYU BURGER. TOTALLY RECOMMEND! “I've been coming to Hot Dog Heaven since 2011, and it's proof that sometimes new ownership doesn't mean losing what made a place special. The new owners have kept everything authentic, and the Chicago-style hot dogs are just as delicious as ever. Every visit has been consistently great.

And don't skip dessert! The brownies are incredible—rich, moist, and almost fudgy instead of dry. They're the perfect way to finish your meal.

As a bonus, they're now open later on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, which makes it even easier to stop by for dinner or a late-night hot dog run.

We drive about 23 miles (roughly 45 minutes) just to eat here, and it's worth the trip every single time.

If you've been wondering whether it's still the Hot Dog Heaven you remember, the answer is absolutely yes. I'm so glad this Fort Lauderdale staple is still going strong!“
