When I grab food at the mall, the main thing I'm looking for is the shortest line. Of course, there's always the risk that the reason the line is short is the food sucks. Not so with Mandarin Express. They have several meal options (1 meat, 2 meats, 3 meats) and a choice between rice or noodles. They offer 3 or 4 meat options (eg bourbon chicken, pepper beef). I grabbed a meal after work at Mandarin Express in Governor Square Mall. The food was good with large portions. I got the three item combo with a side and drink. The place seemed very clean compared to other food court places I've seen before. It did seem a bit pricey as my meal cost over $11.

For a food court restaurant they do pretty good at being consistent with just the right amount of spice. The older gentleman is always smiling and nice but a couple of other workers never smile and are pretty abrupt.
