First visit. Food was good! Disappointed though that some favorite dishes were not on the buffet (Samosas and Palak Paneer), so we ordered from the menu. One in the party did get the buffet. Were made to feel that ordering specific things, including a mango lassi was an inconvenience. Host wasn’t especially friendly/welcoming. Rushed me during paying our tab. Floors were sticky.
I absolutely love their food. My favorites are Baigan Bharta, Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala. I also love their papadum, garlic naan, and onion kulcha...and desserts...gulub jaman and occasionally ras malai. I generally get take-out. I would order Mild (it is spicy enough). I deducted points on service because the food is not ready when they say it will be and have to wait a bit but honestly it is worth the wait. Ordered a masala dosa to go about 30 min before closing and it was wonderful. I would come back just for that as I don't think other places offer that dish. I didn't see much of the restaurant but there were a few patrons inside who seemed to be well taken care of. I would come back to try the rest of the menu, besides the butter chicken or biriyani which I ordered once in the past and it wasn't to my flavor taste.
