Starbucks in Tallahassee

“Today is my birthday and it’s been rough. I come to Starbucks often but I don’t use the app. I asked the woman working this morning if there were anything for birthdays. Even though I couldn’t get it through the app she accommodated me.
She wrote HAPPY BIRTHDAY on my cup and got me a birthday cake cake pop. I appreciate her so much.
Something so “small” was so big to me and I just wanted to say thank you to that young lady. Starbucks - you’re doing a good job!!!! Young woman you’re doing an even better job!!!!!!“

“Padme is an absolute treasure. If I’m not wanting a drink from the standard menu, she’ll work with me to customize a delicious drink. She also insists on making it perfect every time, so I know I’m going to leave with a drink that is delicious and worth the trip to Starbucks.
The location is always clean and comfortable.“

“It’s pretty roomy for a Starbucks. Most are tiny, but considering this location used to be a Chick-fil-A, it’s rather spacious. There’s ample outdoor seating under the covered patio, plus the standard outdoor tables with umbrellas. I gave the food 4 stars because sometimes they don’t have the sandwich I like (either sold out or perhaps not carrying it). When the sandwich is in stock, it’s toasted to perfection. The blueberry streusel muffin is always clutch although a bit pricier and smaller than it used to be. I’ve been a rewards member since 2010 and have watched some of my favorite sandwiches, bakery items, and snacks come and go.“

“I had such a great experience getting coffee thanks to John! He was super helpful and really took the time to help me find the best flavor based on what I like. He was patient and kind! You can tell he genuinely cares about customers leaving happy. Thank you John!!“

“How do I begin to express my WONDERFUL experience at this Starbucks location. It started with the warm and friendly greeting from my barista. The barista took my order and it was made to PERFECTION! Not to mention how fast my order was completed as well! There are so many Starbucks locations in Tallahassee but this one will always be my go to!“

“The workers and coffee are awesome just surprised that you can’t tip the staff every Starbucks I’ve been to they have a tip jar and for them to be understaffed the way they are at this location is very surprising the franchise owner needs a reality check if they want to keep good employees those guys/girls really work their A**es off. “Absolute BEST Starbucks in town, hands down! I drive past another location that I won't mention just to come to this one! A+ team and coffee! Don't let the line fool ya, the drive thru gets you in and out AND the customer service is TOP notch! They go out of their way to accommodate ALL of my coffee creations! Highly recommend!“

“I went to this location one evening recently while traveling for work and it was a wonderful experience. The baristas I encountered were really friendly. I had a short conversation with a barista named Pot and she was very pleasant, she really took interest in making me feel welcomed and made my drink perfectly. I will definitely be stop by whenever Im in the area again and for sure would recommend this location to others!“

“They always have such a creative drink menu based on the seasons, holidays, or other events in town. The best drink I’ve ever had from Starbucks was here and created by one of the baristas!! (I think it was called “the frat boy”) Also went today and they wrote “xoxo go sip girl” on my bf’s cup and it was so funny and cute. Definitely recommend. <3“

“Wow. Just wow! Terrible management - employees move at a snail’s pace. I counted 13 to go order people waiting at one point myself included - with nobody coming in off the street to order at the counter. So what’s the issue? Take a field trip to NYC and go into a Starbucks - and watch true baristas in action - no appreciable wait no matter how many people are in line.“

“The staff is always friendly and personally have never had an issue with drinks or food. One time I forgot one of my drinks and they took time out of their busy day to call me, and tell me I left it.
I explained I couldn't go back until later in the day and they said it was fine and that they would remake my drink whenever I came in. A lot of other places wouldn't have cared and I would have lost out on money and food/drinks but not with this Statbucks.“

“I added an order of coffees and a couple of cake pops to my Target drive up order today as a special treat for myself and my family who has been knocked down all week by some terrible cold virus. My two toddler girls were so excited to get their cake pops but I realized when we parked for our pick up that one flavor of cake pop had been canceled, I assume because they must have run out. As a sick and exhausted mama I was bummed but quickly decided I would drive to Elianos for a replacement cake pop to avoid having to unload the sick kids and go into Target to choose a different flavor. I checked my Starbucks bag when we were almost at Elianos and was so pleasantly surprised to see a note attached to the cake pop bag saying they were sorry they were out of the birthday cake flavor but they had added a second cookies n creme cake pop free of charge! Starbucks really made my day today with 10/10 customer service. Thank you!!! Oh and the coffees were excellent, as always!“

“I honestly don’t know what the rest of the people in this review comment section is talking about! Every time I have visited this Starbucks, I have had the best experience with everyone I have interacted with (Dixie, Brittney, and Andy are three names that stand out to me). Okay, so the drive-through takes a little longer than you would like…I know people are making our drinks, and it takes time to do so. Honestly, I am actually glad that they are taking their time with my drink because I know it will be correct! Have some patience rather than venting in the review section about your 2 minute longer of a wait, and maybe you will enjoy your experience more. The inside is always very clean when I visit. The interactions from the team to customers have always been pleasant from what I can hear. Someone is always wiping down a window, asking if I’m doing OK, asking if I need anything, so, again, I have thoroughly enjoyed every time I have gone. Thank you guys, and don’t let the haters in these reviews get you down! Your diligence and dedication to providing an excellent experience does not go unnoticed ❤️“

“This is the best Starbucks in Tallahassee! I'm typically in & out of drive through in less than 2 minutes, but the line still moves with a purpose when they are busy. My coffee tastes consistent each time, and the whole staff are incredibly pleasant. They also don't burn the sandwhiches!“

“I come here frequently because it’s close to my job but they’re usually pretty busy. I always order online to prevent a long wait time but when I got there today my order wasn’t ready, I wasn’t running late for work or anything and they had quite a few people in there, so it didn’t bother me much. I stood there for probably 15ish minutes before my food was ready (my drink was ready immediately as I walked in) and on my way out a nice gentleman gave me a $4 off gift card for my wait. “This Starbucks is amazing, Jordan Schwartz carries this place to success, making 8 drinks all at once in under 2 minutes and flying orders out with no error. Give this man a raise. When an elderly woman fell nearby Jordan jumped over the counter and slid on his knees, catching her before she hit the ground saving the day. Jordan also sprinted to a nearby burning building and saved 10 toddlers, a single mother, and 3 elderly citizens before the fire department could make it, saving multiple lives. Jordan has shown to be a true hero behind the apron. Godbless this Starbucks. And god Bless Jordan Schwartz ❤️

“Came in late on 12/22, close to closing time, and Courtney took great care of me. She made me a hot white chocolate and was warm, patient, and professional. That’s the kind of service you want representing your store, and it’s why I’ll be back.“

“Similar to other posts on here -- it's so hot and cold. Sometimes, I have terrible experiences, but others have been so positive-- this is why I still give it a chance. At the beginning of the summer, I drove through and when I went to pay, I was offered a free sample of one of their new drinks (This made my freaking day!) and they asked for my feedback on it, it was so nice.

They are relatively speedy as well (at least that's consistent) -- if anything, I think they can take their time more to increase the quality of their drinks (that's what I'd prefer).“
