“From the moment we walked in, the experience at this restaurant was amazing. The owner, Mily, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly hospitable—she even offered my mom a small taste of the legume before ordering, just to make sure she liked it. That level of care and kindness really stood out. Mily also walked us through the ordering process, explaining each dish and helping us feel comfortable with our choices.

I ordered the legume white rice sauce pwa plate and the tassot with diri jon jon, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The flavors were amazing , and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s playlist set the perfect mood, good music and playing at just the right volume not loud. Plus, the restaurant
was spotless—tables floors, were clean.

You can tell Mily truly cares about her customers and takes pride in every dish she serves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was personal, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! If you’re in the area please come check her out!“

“I ordered two dinners and although the meat was fresh, it was tasteless for a Haitian restaurant. The portion was minimized for the price. Also to add, the sauce and pikliz was disgusting. I never had food that was tasteless as such.“

Was able to have a small business meeting over lunch and they excel at everything here from the tasty authentic food, the friendly service, and the fresh clean vibe. I’ve been here through the years but since the new ownership took over recently the layout and atmosphere are definitely trending in the right direction. The Djon Djon rice on the weekend menu is a must and a favorite in our household!“

“Thought I'd give this place a try as I'd heard positive feedback about it. After waiting 50 minutes I was finally seated. Ordered the beef tenderloin filet as it sounded delicious! When it finally arrived I was disappointed to find a long dark hair on my plate. I complained to the waiter, he insisted that another would be made. When the second dish turned up, I was absolutely repulsed to find a dead mouse on my plate. At this point I was very upset, demanded to speak to the manger. it was at this time I spoke to the owner (Andy). He said it was common practice to find mice and hairs in your dishes in Florida and struggled to see what the issue was. He then went out back, only to return with a bowl of potatoes which he proceeded to throw at me. He even chased me back to my car and tried to let my tyres down. Will not be returning again.“

“I am giving them a 8/10 for great food and price. I had griot, fried fish and the food was well seasoned and flavored, the portion was great. My only complaint is the music was too loud and the decor was poor, place is small too. I guess most people just order and pick up the food.“

“What can I say.. This is some of the most delicious Haitian food in broward county hands down. The fried plantains are the best I've ever had.. I'm Cuban and my mom can cook and these are better than hers( I won't tell her that) that turkey tassot is amazing the white rice was perfect.“

“G and his family are really kind and attentive. This is the place to come if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Hatian dishes. Don’t be afraid to ask for a nice cold Prestige beer or a Corounne soda to wash all that good food down. I love their Diri Djon rice and the gravy that is served with it. The griot(fried pork) was tender for each time I ate there and the plantain crispy. Food was pretty consistent with portion and flavor the entire week I ate there . Check them out you won’t be disappointed.“

“I went there thinking there was a nice sit down option for my family, but was dissatisfied with the seating arrangements. Place was quite dirty outside. But the Griot with rice and beans were great. This is more of a to go option but definitely won't get crossed off the list.“

“Don't let the name fool you. This is my go to Haitian food take- out! Service time is reasonable. Value/price relationship is pretty balanced.
My favorites are griot simple, and tassot simple * served with fried plaintain.
They serve generously. One platter of food may serve 2.

I am 62 years old I went to buy a Stew Fish with Red Beans and Rice, the Food was really Delicious they didn't put too much Salt and Oil inside the Food just the way I used to cook at home. “As an independent contractor I asked the cashier for a receipt for the items I paid for in cash she replies that they Do Not Give Out Receipts for cash tranaction(s),  they Give Out Receipts for items paid with Credit Card or Debit Card as per the business'owner policy.
I requested for tax purposes.
They probably do not report most of the cash transactions in order to pay less taxes.
I will report this matter to the Better Business Bureau and other Local Government offices.“

“The soup joumou every Sunday is a must-have. There is no traditional line setup, like how we have in American style restaurants, however, the atmosphere is welcoming and urges you to communicate and be kind.

Every time I come out here, I am in search of the best Haitian/ Caribbean food places and Marc's took the cake!! I had the chicken stew with rice and beans and everything was delicious!! The mango smoothie was also so rich and creamy! They have a completely different way of making the smoothies! The meat was so flavorful and juicy, the rice was so soft and flavorful !! And Karina, our server was amazing!! She has excellent customer service and made sure we were taken care of from when we walked in until we walked out!“
