“My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren't these places as well-known? For their humble decor? Don't be fooled by the decor of the establishment or the dishes, focus on the flavor, which is what really counts.“

“I was craving my moms sunday dinner on a random Monday so decided to give this spot a try...and I am glad I did... from the friendly service to the great food, everything was great. The portions are huge and flavor is on point.... this has been the only time I've enjoyed oxtail from a restaurant- taste like home cooking.. I see why they have 5 stars!“

“Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Service was great, welcoming. I had the oxtail mini, rice/peas steamed cabbage and a side of stew peas. Oxtail fall off the bone tender, very well seasoned and cooked, cabbage good, stew peas delicious, and for good measure I took a large chicken soup that is equally delicious for my meal tonight. I highly recommend this place if craving some Jamaican food.“

I had the jerk pork with festival and my wife had the combo of chicken pork rice and peas and Mac and cheese and I must portions were beyond generous for the price. “Small Jamaican eatery. What they lack in size is made up in taste, presentation and smiles.
The food is authentically Jamaican. It’s a take out affair served it a heart of love. Fried chicken to die for….. curry chicken is on point. So much to choose from, on the week end look out for Diana service with a smile. The chef is boss!!! Mid Maxine and the crew representing well!!! “Lunch Special Brown Stew Chicken and Calallo Rice OMG“

“I stopped going about a year or two ago due to the drop in the quality of food. I decided to check them out again, because someone said it was under new management. I was greeted, but it could have been better. Upon asking about the food, it was like pulling teeth. Could have explained the menu and help with the options and get me a bit more interested in what they offered. Then, when she started to explain, she was flying through everything and I could barely hear her. The bottom line is, amp up the customer service and be a bit more friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, I purchased the curry chicken, peas n rice, and cabbage. Got home and saw that I had a plate full of rice and cabbage, no plantains(at least 2 small pieces) 1drumstick cut in half, half of a half of thigh and a small bone or two that was chopped up when they cut the chicken. That pissed me off, because $10.42 at least let me get a whole chicken leg quarter, two legs or something, is all I'm saying.“

“The restaurant isn't designed for groups to dine in comfortably. No imagination is put into the decor, BUT the food is delicious! The pea soup is to die for!! I've also had the fried chicken which is cooked to perfection and the oxtail which is nice. I've had the salt fish fritters which are too greasey but the fried dumplings (Johnny Cakes) are just DELICIOUS.... More to cone as I work .y way through the menu.“

It’s rare to find such a personable atmosphere! The food was, as always, incredible. I had the curried goat, which was perfectly spiced and tender, and the oxtail was rich and flavorful. Both dishes were spot-on! To top it off, we were given a tour of the newly opened, exclusive upstairs dining area (pictures to come!), which looks fantastic. Kudos to the owners for continuously elevating the dining experience here.
