I recently had the pleasure of dining at Acropolis Greek Taverna in Ybor City with the renowned Latin American comedian, Luis Chataing, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Acropolis salad is sooo huge and delicious
Been years since I have been here and clearly it has gotten some upgrades! Now FIVE stars!!! Drinks were DELICIOUS! Food was hot fresh DELICIOUS! Servers were D...super friendly! :-D. And the restaurant was clean, modern, and well themed. Amir was a very attentive and friendly server. They do little Greek dances, throw napkins, and the classic but ever fun breaking of plates! There's a belly dancer that dances too at times. Love this place.

Acropolis Greek Taverna in Ybor City offers great food and excellent service in a fun, lively atmosphere. The food always exceeds expectations, with tender Gyro meat, crispy greek fries, and delicious feta. Appetizers like the stuffed mushrooms and falafel are on point, with the Greek salsa as a perfect compliment. The appetizer sampler with fresh warm pita is a great starter. For mains, the Crete burger is literally one of the best burgers, and the pesto pasta is excellent. Salads are extremely fresh and authentic, featuring plenty of feta cheese. The service is prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, with staff offering great recommendations and being super attentive. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming, with a belly dancer adding to the experience. The music can be a touch too loud, but the food is that good. This location is highly recommended, and guests will definitely return.
