Apna Grill Reviews
The restaurant had a warehouse feel to it. So, you are not going there the atmosphere. The salad was ok. Nothing special I had the main course I honestly do not remember how the food tasted. I may give the place another try. In my opinion needs an upgrade to gritty for me. It's ok if the food is cheap hopefully it just looks kinda dirty but is clean. I will review again hopefully I can give a detailed review.
After Farooq left this new cook is horrible. High prices and terrible food. Will never patronize them. Anyone knows where farooq is working now?
The best Indo-Pakistani food in the town! Period! Farooq ji is the best!! Lahori Cholle, Karahi Chicken, Chappli Kababs, Kabab Platters, Saag Makki, Daal Makhni, Pudina Chattni, Aaloo bukhra chattni!! 🤗🤗🤗

Apna Grill is a hidden gem that offers an international market experience. The restaurant is nestled within a Middle Eastern grocery store, surrounded by little shops selling various home goods, clothing, and hookah supplies. The market boasts a great selection of fresh and frozen foods, including unique and hard-to-find items. Diners can enjoy delicious meals, such as the highly-recommended shish kebab and butter naan, although prices may be slightly higher than surrounding stores. Despite this, Apna Grill is a must-visit destination for international food enthusiasts, with entire aisles dedicated to specific countries and cuisines. Customers praise the food quality, especially mentioning dishes like butter chicken with white rice, which are described as delicious and of great quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service that enhances the overall experience. The restaurant also features a café serving freshly made halal food, perfect for a quick bite after shopping. While some dishes like chicken biryani may not meet everyone's expectations, the variety and authenticity of the offerings make Apna Grill a popular spot for those seeking flavorful international cuisine and a convenient shopping experience in Tampa.
