“I have been going to this location for last 15+ years.
I have 2 chipotles within a mile. And been going to this one, even though its over three miles. Very consistent food. The portions are amazing. Customer service is beyond good. "Leo" who has been working there for a few years is just a pleasure to deal with. I thought he was a manager. But he aint. DANG! Thinking of stealing him for my company. Good hard working folks are so hard to find these days.
Leo... am gonna give you my business card soon.
Vegetarian options: Tofu.“
“One of the most remarkable aspects of Chipotle is its emphasis on personalization. From the moment I step into the restaurant, l am greeted with the opportunity to craft a meal that is uniquely my own. Each step in the assembly line is a moment of choice, allowing me to curate my perfect bowl, burrito, or tacos. The ability to customize every element of the meal-rice, beans, protein, salsa, and toppings
—is where Chipotle shines.
For me, it all begins with the foundation: cilantro-lime rice. Whether it's the light and fluffy white rice or the more robust, earthy brown rice, this base sets the stage for a flavorful, hearty dish. Each grain is infused with the subtle brightness of lime, complemented by the fresh punch of cilantro, creating an irresistible backdrop for the rest of the ingredients.
Next come the beans. I often find myself drawn to the black beans, which offer a richer, slightly smoky flavor compared to the "to beans. However, on days when I'm..
the mood for something heartier, the pinto beans, stewed with bits of bacon, offer a delightful depth of flavor. It's this versatility that makes Chipotle a place where no two meals are ever quite the same.
The centerpiece of my Chipotle bowl, though, is always the protein. Whether it's the succulent barbacoa, slow-cooked for hours until it's melt-in-your-mouth tender, or the smoky adobo-marinated chicken, the protein choices at Chipotle are nothing short of extraordinary. The carnitas, with their rich and savory flavor, hold a special place in my heart. Each bite is an explosion of spices and textures that elevate the dish to something more than just "fast food."“
“I was actually in line right behind cilantro sensitive Michael Dupree, and the line was HUGE. He did ask for cilantro free rice, and the employee explained they were unable to do that because the rice is made with cilantro. He demanded to speak with a manager, who then came over and tried his best to explain that he unfortunately couldn’t be accommodated. Mr Can’t Eat Cilantro demeaned the employees and said repeatedly “I will just leave you a bad review” and the manager apologized and repeated unfortunately he couldn’t accommodate the request.
The employees ALL remained kind and respectful, despite the insane request and the growing line. And the food was delicious as always.
Mike.. make your own bland food at home brother. It’s not that serious.“
“Late night dinner, super long lines but the staff were amazing. Sped things up and super friendly from start to finish 😊 they acknowledged every customer and cleaned up the area throughout the time we were there. Hasn’t been this way before so kudos to their new crew!“
“I walked over here from a nearby hotel. There is a sitting outside, and with perfect weather, it's tempting to eat outside. If you are by the mall, walking for this food is worth it. Everyone was friendly, and my food was made with the most productive as any other Chipotle that I've been to. The food was delicious. Yes, I recommend coming back here. The bathroom is single. Keep in mind if you find yourself waiting for a bit.“
“I'm surprised there are so many bad reviews. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh and standard Chipotle quality.
Dietary restrictions: As someone who's vegan, I always appreciate finding a Chipotle, because it's one of the few places that will always have options for me.“
“Great place, great staff and unlike the Chipotle on dalemabry near Fletcher these guys don't skimp and try to actively rip you off by putting away less than they should.
Would recommend also because somehow everything made here just tastes way better to.“
“It's hit or miss at this location. Most of the time my food is okay. I wouldn't do online pickup here cause from my experience they seem to be stingy with those.
Vegetarian options: You can get vegetable options here with no meat“
“I live right off Bayshore so this is my closest chipotle. I’ve been coming here for 6 years, I think we can all agree that it’s been a bit disappointing for a while. I even wrote a negative review when the old staff was arguing with the health inspector.
Today I went in somewhat reluctantly and was complaining taken aback by the cleanliness and complete transformation of staff, the two ladies who were working the main counter and the mobile order counter at 2:15 on January 16th were some of the nicest, polite and everything else you can say nice about someone, from the man who was preparing the food to the man who was frying the chips was extremely professional and welcoming. The ladies seemed happy to be there and not in some mood like they just got over a conniption fit like this place was a couple years ago. From the way they spoke to not only me but also the way they spoke to the DoorDash drivers was the main reason I am writing this review.
There was no arguing about portions and no skimping of anything. It is so breathtaking to see people who actually care about what they do. I am delighted to say that my past review is completely obsolete and I will be taking it down. Best chipotle in the Tampa Bay Area and I will 100% be coming back and downloading that app.
20/10 if I could give 7 stars I would, god blees“
“Of all of the Chipotle locations around Tampa Bay, I believe this is the best. Is it perfect? No, but that's just the Chipolte standard. I enjoy this location because they always cook food despite the long/short lines, and the food always tastes fresh.“
