Based on reviews, Coco's at 40th St. Restaurant is a hidden gem and a mom and pop shop. From the moment customers walk in, they are greeted with a huge smile by very pleasant and polite staff. The workers are the sweetest, kind, and attentive to every customer, even when very busy. The food is fresh, yummy, and very good. The beef empanada has juicy flavors inside a flaky crust with a small amount of creamy cheese. The stuffed potato is filled with delicious ground beef. Other menu items include breakfast burritos, pancakes, the Cuban, cookies, the picadillo plate, and the pernil plate. The yuca is also a highlight. The food is affordable, and the price is very fair for the quality. Customers were in and out in 10 minutes despite the amount of people getting food. The restaurant is known for doing what is right for the customer and is considered a selfless business. It is recommended for breakfast or lunch.
