D´rose Gastrobar Reviews
Excellent service, great recommendations. Would strongly suggest anything on the menu. I had the beet salad, churaso steak and rice with egg.
Five stars hardly feel like enough for D’ROSE in Tampa.
This is the kind of restaurant you leave feeling grateful you found. What this family has created deserves to be a destination of its own.
The small plates are absolutely packed with flavor, and every dish had its own unique character. Nothing tasted repetitive—each plate brought a different combination of flavors and textures that made me slow down and savor every bite. The Latin flair, beautiful Colombian...read full review

Located at 2238 East 7th Ave Tampa Florida in Ybor City near the historic Columbia restaurant is a modern Latin inspired place called D’rosa Gastrobar. I found out about this place from a friend’s recommendation which intrigued me sooooooo I had to go. I went on a Sunday where they had a brunch menu and a regular menu. Our waiter Cisco was kind, friendly and very informed about the menu…he was big on recommending the Vaca Frita Arepa…I ordered from the regular menu and...read full review

The menu includes a brunch menu and a regular menu. The “Side A Bites” section offers small plates. The Olives are marinated in olive oil, orange peel, garlic and herb. The Papas Chorriadas feature crispy potatoes, rich cheese crumbles, Ahogado (diced tomato, onion and garlic) with garlic aioli. The stuffed sweet plantains are covered in whipped goat cheese and guava. The Red Bean Cazuela is a savory Colombian Frijolada bean dish with peppers, onions and cilantro. The Vaca Frita Arepa has slow braised beef, corn patty and Ahogado. The Flank Steak Asada is exceptional with flavor for days. The ceviche amazónica is delicious. The snapper is a must-try. The Lulada Sour and Guarapo margarita are so good.
The family behind D’ROSE brings warmth and kindness. The staff is hospitable, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. The decor is great, the atmosphere is really cool, and there is good music. Close parking makes this place a must on your list for girls night, date night or a single exploration visit.
