Zambia Smokehouse Reviews
Food was fair to okay. It was a huge disappointment from when we came here previously over the years. I heard private equity ruined the park and that is evident in the lack of quality here. The meat was cold and the bread was hard. The kids meal was decent and the overpriced cookie was okay.
The staff weren’t friendly and weren’t familiar with their own promotion that was visible as a sign in the service line. The cashier rang me up incorrectly and insisted...read full review
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, but the pork is very dry and doesn’t taste good.
Tables are outside
Chicken was not cooked properly but other items were ok, good seating arrangements.

Zambia Smokehouse offers a unique dining experience within the park, although it comes at a higher price. The variety platter and smoked brisket are notable menu items, but reviews of the food quality are mixed. The Texas-style brisket and BBQ chicken have received varying reviews, with some finding the brisket tough and the chicken dry. However, the peach cobbler and seasoned fries have received high praise.
The restaurant has made some changes recently. The brisket and platter are no longer included in the All Day Dining option, and the Texas toast has been replaced with a dinner roll. The smoked flavor is still present in the brisket, chicken, and ribs, and the fries are considered flavorful. The lines can be long, and the service can be slow at times, but the restaurant has made efforts to improve the situation by adding an additional cashier.
Overall, the experience and convenience of having an in-park dining option may outweigh the higher prices and occasional inconsistencies in food quality for some visitors.
