I thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant. I was told the steak was a great option to go with along with the mac and cheese.. It did not disappoint. I got a mixture of rice and greens with the sweet potatoes. When thinking about this does not sound like the best combination. However, when you add the garlic aoili sauce, it is perfect. Lacks the live music, old buildings and historic feel (because only Nola can ever provide that) but still a cool place to be in. The food is more Nola inspired than authentic Nola but still delicious. Bottomless mimosas/bloody Mary’s or sangria available during brunch. Overall a 4 star rating. “This place is so good!! I've passed by Greenlane so many times that I finally decided it was my turn to try them and now I'm hooked ! I got a harvest bowl, but instead of the dressing it comes with I got the chipotle, and also added corn poblano and the Flavors came together so well! I love the sweet potato with the spice from the poblano and chipotle ranch. It was a match made in heaven. The slushies are so good I've been back since to get another slushie and salad and it's was fantastic. Definitely going to be back!“

“We dined at Mission BBQ on Saturday evening. This was our first visit to Mission BBQ and we had the Pulled Pork meal with Fries and Beans and ended up dining in. The employees were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. “I had take out Chicken Pad Drunken Noodle that was Thai Hot++ (EXTREME HEAT—I love spice) with Chicken. The chicken was luscious, delicate, and delectable. The noodles were perfect, and the spice brought real tears to my eyes. I say this as a chef who’s worked in fine dining and a Michelin Star restaurant, go check them out. If you don’t want to dine in, order take out, or delivery. I didn’t take any pictures of the Pan, but I’m adding a pic of the duck I had a few months back for perspective.“

We've tried the Empanadas, the Papa A La Huancaina Appetizer which is boiled potatoes with a spicy cream cheese sauce. It is soooo good! Must try! We've had the half chicken dinners with a side salad and spicy beans. The chicken is tender and tasty. The chicken tacos and the chicken rice bowl are both very good. I have to say the green sauce is the best sauce out there! The establishment is very clean and the service is friendly and on point.“

“Nostalgia hit when we saw the sign as we had gone to the original in Chicago. Does this one live up to the OG? Mostly, yes. The hot dogs were delicious, bacon cheeseburger fresh and delightful, and the fries were fresh and crispy. The chocolate cake shake is fantastic. Don't come here and not order it...you'll be sorry.The one thing I wasn't completely sold on was that the chocolate cake by itself was good, but not Chicago Portillo's good. “The food was out super quick and our server was polite. The egg salad was like a 7/10, not mind blowing but still pretty good. Scoop of salad comes with a pickle spear, individually packed crackers, and a sugar frosted cookie. I ordered a side of fresh fruit, which I enjoyed. BUT the grapes were kinda squishy (which is expected in restaurants 9/10 times, I've never been somewhere where the grapes are crisp and crunchy ). Sitting area was spacious and they played some country pop music. There were some crumbs on the booth seats and tables in some areas, and i can only assume they simply hadn't had the time to clean those seats up yet. overall pretty fine establishment, if you like chicken you'll probably enjoy the food way more than I did (I don't eat meat lol).“
“Café Cuba has some beautiful pictures of Cuba on the walls, it’s a cute little spot. The sandwiches we ate were good.. they come fairly plain so we had to request the lettuce & tomatoes. We asked for cheese on each but they forgot to add it. The overall flavor was good, the bread was fresh and the temperature was just right. I wasn’t impressed with the cafe con leche at all, improvement in that area is needed. They have a nice size menu & offer hot, ready to serve food as well if you’re in a time crunch. The menu is Cuban and Dominican so the name of the restaurant is a bit misleading. Our experience was nice but the woman behind the counter who attended us, told us to take pictures and told us she wanted a review from us when she brought us our food. I don’t go to restaurants to be told to leave a review. A review is usually asked for if experience is enjoyable,etc. Overall our experience was good and we enjoyed our food.“

The only place I've been able to find a solid chicken salad at prior to this was Magnolias in Bartow but I will always return back here! I have tried the fancy Nancy, lemon basil, the BBQ chicken salad and the kickin Lynn. All of them I recommend and would get again and I'm definitely looking forward to exploring more of their choices and trying the whole menu.“
“I stopped by yesterday to try their burgers. The place is very clean and it was surprisingly very quiet for a Friday afternoon. Ordered a #7 to go without the fries & drink combo. The burger is very good, cooked to perfection and everything was fresh. I personally would have liked a bit more seasoning on the burger but that’s my own personal preference. “Defiantly the best Pizza in the SemHeights area. It's a thinner (but not too thin) crust NY style Pizza. Nice crisp, excellent toppings. There is a lot...lot of pizza places in Tampa and most of the are pretty terrible, this is one of the good ones. Good beer selection, local craft brewery stuff, not the largest selection but they got all the bases covered. Indoor Outdoor seating. Yes it is a converted gas station, but is done surprisingly well. Has to be the only time I ever seen a gas station converted successfully. All in all great place, it's defiantly my go to for local pizza.“
“I first knew about Village Inn in Omaha, Nebraska so imagine my surprise when I came to Florida. I first visited Village Inn in clearwater and then for whatever reason, it shut down and then another one on Dale Mabry and that became some other establishment, so I started coming to this one closer to Kennedy also on Dale Mabry. I was happy to see a familiar face from another location named Rosie-an amazing human being with a heart of gold. Another familiar face is Brenda and Brenda is an amazing server with super service and high attention to detail. Now Village Inn at this location can up it's game a bit by interior updates for a more pleasant dining experience. Most of the servers are exceptional such as GG, Tiffany, Sharonda, Holly, Denise, Brenda, Danielle, Angie, Jackie and Annette. GG is by far my most favorite because she is attentive, always has a smile on her face, and goes the extra mile to deliver a wonderful experience. I am a regular here and visit Village Inn when Im in town-Wish they had Village Inn in NY, NJ, CT, PA, and VA with at least one GG in each location. GG is high energy and super at her job as she takes a lot of pride in what she does and she takes her job very seriously. GG has a high attention to detail, gets every detail of my order and usually knows what I like before I ask just the way I like it. Without asking, GG is usually on top of her A-game and replenishes empty drinks and always has a smile on her face with a wonderful small talk exchange in a proactive manner. GG is a strong asset to Village Inn as a high energy server and pleasant to talk with. Tiffany is much the same way and Tiffany is super chill as well. On the same note, Ive had absolutely atrocious service by someone who forgot to give me utensils, brought the wrong dressing, and apologize for being distracted by another table to the point I had to ask for another server. I get it some people are having a bad day and got distracted we are all human . Awesome set of managers such as Joie, Rosie, Denise, and Cherie. At random times, I always pay for any law enforcement in appreciation for all they do as well as other tables just cuz. Food is fresh and tasty for most selections as well as customizing food the way I like it such as avocado salad, avocado toast, and other types of dishes done in a certain way.“

They were out of the saffron basmati rice (it was cooking when we arrived but not ready yet) and my boyfriend and I typically only get that rice when eating at Cava however we decided to try the brown rice instead and it did not disappoint. The taste and quality of the food and soft drinks we had were superb. Ellis and DJ’s radiant, divine, and welcoming energy made mine and my boyfriend’s experience better than we could’ve ever imagined. Their persistent effort, compassion, and remarkable customer service has not gone unnoticed. We loved their Wednesday wing special in honey BBQ sauce, Philly cheese steak sandwich, fried clam strips, onion rings and three delicious large iced tea, for under $50.00. Everything was good and flavorful. We went back two days later with relatives, to try other items on their menu. For starters we had their delicious potato skins, fried pickles and jalapeño poppers combo. For dinner the seafood platter, Buffalo chicken sandwich, pastrami on rye sandwich and of course more chicken wings, again everything was delicious. The place is clean,the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed.
