“We were visiting town and were looking for something good. Oh did we find the jackpot!! The food here was absolutely delicious!! We decided to share our meals in order to get to try more. Two rice versions (yellow & dirty), yams, mac & cheese, catfish, oxtail, honey fried chicken, smoked cabbage were perfect!! Oh do not skip the sweet cornbread almost like a cornbread pound cake and another must is the banana pudding!! Every bite was a soulful bliss of love, flavor, & freshly made goodness!! Wish we lived closer would be a frequent stop for us!! Oh and the vibe along with customer service was excellent!! God bless!“

Juicy chicken, soft and fluffy biscuits, crispy waffles, inventive pairings and combinations fit for any palette. Do not pass go without trying the shitake mushroom gravy.The service is as warm and inviting as their biscuits are buttery. LuLu was an angel to us and our children, putting a bow on an overall incredible experience.“

“Went in there on a Sunday and fell in love with a new restaurant.. I ordered the baked chicken with yellow rice,yams, Mac and cheese,and collard greens. Everything was delicious but the greens were like Granny's.They even had pouches of cool-aid.I was impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some great soul food.“

“Ordered the twice baked turkey wings, collards, cabbage, and candied yams from Uber. Everything was top tier and seasoned to perfection. The meat fell off the bone on the turkey, the collards had bite and cabbage had crunch and the yams were fresh and actually candied. I would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to try it again. Hope I can get My order in early enough to get some of that mac & cheese when I double back.“

“The food was fantastic! We loved all of it! The service was great sometimes a little slow but there were only two servers for the whole place. Very cute place and the owner was so sweet and kind. We loved the live music that preforming too! Andy B was great!!“

“My favorite place to get some quick and easy fix for parties and get together. I buy Hawaiian rolls and stuff them with the salads and are always a hit. The orders can take a minute but I like that they are always fresh. Just a bit stingy with the crackers but I just get me more at the store if needed.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room in the dinning room“

“Love the restraunts itself. You feel like a guest over for a community BBQ. Everyone was very friendly and the menu items have cute names, like Aunt Soandsos potato salad, or Uncle Somebody's slap yourself cornbreadmuffin. I had the pulled pork dinner w/potato salad and baked beans. The pork was a heaping pile and the bbq sauce was amazing. Hubby had the rib dinner w/collards and potato salad and a corn bread muffin. His ribs were delicious and the sauce complimented the flavor nicely. However, with the exception of the collards, the sides were just ok. The cornbread muffin was dry and crumbled, potato salad was very eggs and the potatoes were a bit undercooked, and the baked beans had none of that amazing bbq taste, just warm beans. But, who goes for the sides!?! We did have to pay for parking across the street, but it is Ybor. All in all it was definitely a delight and we will be back.“

“The food was out super quick and our server was polite. The egg salad was like a 7/10, not mind blowing but still pretty good. Scoop of salad comes with a pickle spear, individually packed crackers, and a sugar frosted cookie. I ordered a side of fresh fruit, which I enjoyed. BUT the grapes were kinda squishy (which is expected in restaurants 9/10 times, I've never been somewhere where the grapes are crisp and crunchy ). Sitting area was spacious and they played some country pop music. There were some crumbs on the booth seats and tables in some areas, and i can only assume they simply hadn't had the time to clean those seats up yet. overall pretty fine establishment, if you like chicken you'll probably enjoy the food way more than I did (I don't eat meat lol).“

“Love the jalapeño chicken salad as well as the broccoli salad. Those with sodium issues, limit your portion as the chicken salads have high sodium content. Review it and make your own decision. Always courteous and pleasant service at no matter what CSC I go to. Clean too! Prices are good.“

“Had them at the FL State Fair and had to go back several times. I cooked in a vegan restaurant and this is some of the tastiest vegan food I’ve ever had! We had almost the whole menu and have only good things to say. Birria tacos Family run business too! They are so nice.“

All of our guests loved what was served. Even our wedding photographer said that was the best food she had ever had at a wedding. 10/10 recommend.“

This past week I went with the intent of trying a new chicken salad and the staff was very helpful in picking out a salad that they thought I would like. The dining area was clean and the staff brought out the food very quickly. Overall I had a great time.“
