It was my first time eating here at Mama's Soulfood.I ordered the Oaxtail dinner with yellow rice, Collard greens and macaroni cheese.I just moved here from Miami,Florida 10 months ago..I was very dissatisfied with the Collard greens which had a distinct odor and wasn't completely cooked. Oxtails was very salty. Rice was okay and the Macaroni cheese was delicious. I was very disappointed with my experience. I grew up on soulfood from Miami. Ridiculous…this food is absolutely amazing and I’m not sure if I’ll make it through the whole menu, but I’m gonna try. Everything is just delicious and I’ll keep coming back. Y’all keep doing the dang thang??????
Great tasting food and very generous portions. I’ve only tried 4 different dishes but will make my way through the others. The desserts are awesome also ??
