“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.”

“Dennis was our server - he was awesome & my wife liked his “extra dirty” hat.
Love WOB in Brownwood. We had the Bavarian Pretzel - always outstanding. We also had the WOB sampler. The cheese curds were the closest thing to Wisconsin Curds we have had in Florida.

“After the Beef O’Bradys at Southern Trace closed THS came along to be a pub place I could reach in 10 minutes or so by golf cart. I’ve had numerous meals here since it opened and ask for reliable servers when I don’t sit at the bar. Decent food and a good sports atmosphere. I particularly like the smash burgers.”

“5+ stars to the City Fire restaurant and the amazing HOPE for a fantastic experience and great food. Our 14 year old Akita Wishy was warmly greeted and invited to join us at one of the outdoor patio tables. Hope was SO great with Wishy -- lots of water refills -- and finding out Hope loves dogs and that City Fire is so dog friendly just made our visit that much better. Oh and the French Dip and Burger we ordered were great -- and the Bourbon Sour -- perfect! We'll bring Wishy back for more fun soon -- and we'll be requesting one of Hope's tables for sure!”

“Wolfgang Puck Brownwood was excellent. We have been many times and the food is consistently very good! We have had the grouper, halibut and pasta amongst many other dishes. Last night we had the special Mac n cheese which was amazing! We also had Alejandro for a waiter last night and he was by far the best server we have ever had!! The way he described the food made you want to try something you've never had. Also, his personality was amazing!! He enhanced the entire dining experience. definitely try to get Alejandro as your server if you go there!!”

“Thank you Denny's for the free breakfast for Veterans Day. The food was so good and came to the table hot. Our server, Erika was outstanding! She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. She is the best server we have ever had since moving here. You are lucky to have such a caring employee.”

“Although I do like Toojays, I was quite surprised to eat there the other day with a new menu. I always go and get the stuffed cabbage which was so yummy. It has been taken off the menu. I went there yesterday specifically for them. Not sure how often I will go back now. Very disappointed!! Please bring them back!!”

“Our friends took us there for my birthday the other night. It was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The quantity was just overwhelming overwhelming. The three of us got a bento box and we absolutely loved it. I would go back and get that 100 times over my husband got a teriyaki shrimp dinner which had 12 huge delicious shrimp on it. The prices were more than reasonable and we had an absolutely lovely dinner. What a hidden treasure. We will definitely return.”

“After golf, 4 of us stopped by, sat at bar. Ricki took wonderful care of us, we had 2 meat loaf meals, 1 fish and chips, and a chicken rice bowl. All were delicious. Place was packed when we left, I would have to say mostly local folks who know a good place. One of our favorite places.”

“My wife and I have frequently dined at the King Fu Chef in The Villages, and generally we have loved the ambiance, the staff, and the food, but I had been less than fascinated with their version of Mongolian Beef. Well, I kept seeing posts that praised their Mongolian Beef, so we decided to give then another try on 09/29/2025. Happy Event: Kung Fu Chef has redeemed itself! I have eaten at Kungfu Chef many times, and generally it is very good. But, the previous time I had the Mongolian Beef, I thought it was way too overcooked to the point of being burnt, but now they ARE BACK! Today the Mongolian Beef was SUPER! Great robust flavor, good aroma, plenty moist and flavorful, and a single dinner meal was larger than the two of use could eat for lunch, so happy event: We got to take 1/2 of it home for supper the next night. So happy to see they have the good chef back! By the way, don’t forget to ask for a small bowl of “chili oil”; their version of this sauce has many complex undertones without being too spicy, we eat a lot of it in Hot and Sour Soup, add it to fried rice, and in this case, to the Mongolian Beef.”

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

“It's a really cute place with Colombian specialty pastries and other menu items. The menu item meals are very expensive, but I couldn't comment on the quality because we did not order. However we spent over $14 on a cup of tea, a cup of coffee and a croissant. The tea was over $5 for a simple tea bag...but it was served in a cute little tea pot. The coffee was average...and my husband felt the croissant had been microwaved. We will go back for lunch one time and give it a other chance!”

“First time we went in to eat a pizza with our favorite topping caramelized onion and roasted red pepper 🌶️ it was absolutely amazing 💯 the next two times we went in and ordered it to go with the same toppings, but they do not load up on the toppings that you purchase if you’re taking it out and the crust is softer, I guess it depends on who is making them that day. Love the service though and decor 👍 just some advice when somebody orders toppings be a little bit more generous and make sure each piece of pizza has them on!”

“It's been 5 years since I had American Chinese food! Hit the spot-ish. Shrimp egg rolls were delicious.
The shrimp egg foo young was bland. [I'm used to no gravy] but this was 0 flavor on the patty itself. Added soy sauce and it was good.
Beef and broccoli and king pao chicken were good! Huge portions for even the small option.”

“Dined in today, 2-1-2026, for lunch. It was 38 degrees outside and so cold in dining area that we and others patrons had to wear our coats. You need to provide a reasonably comfortable temperature for dining. Refusing to turn on heat is ridiculous. We were told the manager won't allow heat to be turned on because it'll smell like it's burning and the fire department will come. Seriously! Manager, let the staff turn on the heat. They are cold too. You really need to do better and consider patrons comfort.
The food and the service at this location is very good. It's only the freezing dining room I have an issue with.”

Pricing is a fraction higher than it should be and one more server would have reduced the wait times, but it wasn't too long considering the number of customers at the moment. Standard Haagen-Dazs quality and flavors. Sitting out back on the waterfront listening to the music from the restaurant on the corner just added to the experience.”

I got the French dip which was delicious, 2 mozzarella sticks with marinara, 2 potato cakes, a small size soda AND PEACH COBBLER DESSERT! WHAAAAT? That was great! Where do you get all that for $10? ARBYS! THAT'S WHERE! GO! They have fish and chicken sandwiches and burgers too now! If you haven't been here in awhile, check it out! What an awesome deal!”
