“I was with 14 women and all of us were received our drinks and meals within a timely period. Staff were courteous and friendly. Manager stopped by and was very friendly. Would go with a group again because it was a pleasant experience and the food was great!”

“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.”

“Food was really great. Give a 4 because my side Mac and cheese seemed to be half cust bread crumbles and half Mac and cheese. It tasted good but preferred more mac than crumbs . The burger was so good. My drink was great also.”

“I ordered a fillet Tender Loin Oscar it was tough, had to chew on it for awhile, everything else was ok. Wife had steak tacos, same thing, tough to chew. I guess if you order something else, your properly ok.”

“5+ stars to the City Fire restaurant and the amazing HOPE for a fantastic experience and great food. Our 14 year old Akita Wishy was warmly greeted and invited to join us at one of the outdoor patio tables. Hope was SO great with Wishy -- lots of water refills -- and finding out Hope loves dogs and that City Fire is so dog friendly just made our visit that much better. Oh and the French Dip and Burger we ordered were great -- and the Bourbon Sour -- perfect! We'll bring Wishy back for more fun soon -- and we'll be requesting one of Hope's tables for sure!”

“First time here. Great dinner. However, we didn’t receive any bread after receiving our drinks. I asked the waitress for some and she brought 4 small breadsticks. Never mentioned that I would be charged $3!! Unreal. How cheap is this restaurant owner? His greed for my $3 just cost them soooo much more because I’ll never go back.”

“I came in last Wednesday evening (4/1). I arrived shortly after the space launch. Came in and grabbed a seat at the bar. James immediately greeted me and got me a cold beer. I ordered the jambalaya and some grilled wings. Both were extremely good! One thing I noticed was that James never stopped. He constantly moving and taking care of other guests. He seemed to know most of the guests by name. I thought he did an excellent job and truly is an asset to your restaurant. Thanks for a great meal. I’ll be back next time in town. Jackson”

“Although I do like Toojays, I was quite surprised to eat there the other day with a new menu. I always go and get the stuffed cabbage which was so yummy. It has been taken off the menu. I went there yesterday specifically for them. Not sure how often I will go back now. Very disappointed!! Please bring them back!!”

“Thank you Denny's for the free breakfast for Veterans Day. The food was so good and came to the table hot. Our server, Erika was outstanding! She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. She is the best server we have ever had since moving here. You are lucky to have such a caring employee.”

“After golf, 4 of us stopped by, sat at bar. Ricki took wonderful care of us, we had 2 meat loaf meals, 1 fish and chips, and a chicken rice bowl. All were delicious. Place was packed when we left, I would have to say mostly local folks who know a good place. One of our favorite places.”

“Our friends took us there for my birthday the other night. It was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The quantity was just overwhelming overwhelming. The three of us got a bento box and we absolutely loved it. I would go back and get that 100 times over my husband got a teriyaki shrimp dinner which had 12 huge delicious shrimp on it. The prices were more than reasonable and we had an absolutely lovely dinner. What a hidden treasure. We will definitely return.”

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

“It was our first time at Sammy Joe's. We tried their Sammy's pizza tonight and absolutely delicious. Fluffy crust with a special seasoning. Just perfect 👌 My toddler also approved the pizza. Will be going back to try other things in the menu.”

“First time we went in to eat a pizza with our favorite topping caramelized onion and roasted red pepper 🌶️ it was absolutely amazing 💯 the next two times we went in and ordered it to go with the same toppings, but they do not load up on the toppings that you purchase if you’re taking it out and the crust is softer, I guess it depends on who is making them that day. Love the service though and decor 👍 just some advice when somebody orders toppings be a little bit more generous and make sure each piece of pizza has them on!”

“Went to Fenney for lunch today after probably a 2 year hiatus because of horrible service in the past. Today was much much better. The food was great. I had the hot Italian sub and enjoyed it quite a bit. Wife had the turkey club and it was good. Colleen was our bartender and she was awesome. So much better and friendlier than people in the past. Glad they got their staffing sorted and things are back on track.”

When we pulled our number 25, she was serving #8- in a mear 25 minutes she served 17 orders- many multiple items. The shrimp egg foo young was bland. [I'm used to no gravy] but this was 0 flavor on the patty itself. Added soy sauce and it was good.
Beef and broccoli and king pao chicken were good! Huge portions for even the small option.”

“Lots of people say it's not like NYC or Chicago. I'm from Dallas and think the pizza here is good. They need to up their thin crust game. The regular pizza is very good. The thin crust was burned. Because of calories I only eat thin crust. I'm sure there are many of us. Please up your thin crust game. Thank you.”

Whatever you are paying her is not enough. She is also a lot of fun for a bunch of old crazy golfers like us. She can turn a bad day of golf into a fun time at lunch. Darrell’s is really good, too.”
