“The food here was amazing—definitely the best Chinese I’ve had in Central Florida so far! The staff was very friendly and even served us at the table since we were dining in. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back whenever I’m near The Villages.“

“I picked up three orders here for my family, and the place was bustling with people. I tried the sweet and sour chicken, while my mother enjoyed the beef and broccoli, and my father had the General Tso chicken. Everything was so good—fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I especially recommend their homemade hot mustard, which is so much better than the typical packet version. Yes, they charge a dollar for a small cup, but it’s well worth it.
I regret not taking any pictures; it was just so busy that I didn’t even think of it. The family that runs this restaurant is always kind and efficient. Given how busy it was with people waiting for their food, I can tell they treat their customers well. They consistently serve quality food, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. I definitely plan to return and recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty, reliable Chinese cuisine.“

“It's been 5 years since I had American Chinese food! Hit the spot-ish. Shrimp egg rolls were delicious.
The shrimp egg foo young was bland. [I'm used to no gravy] but this was 0 flavor on the patty itself. Added soy sauce and it was good.
Beef and broccoli and king pao chicken were good! Huge portions for even the small option.“

“Great customer service, we stayed there to eat a quick lunch, received our food within a couple minutes, order was accurate and hot. Prices were reasonable considering the massive servings we received - enough for 3 meals each. Excellent flavor.“
“Just moved to The Villages and trying to find a decent take out Chinese restaurant. Well found it and it is more than decent it is the best I have had since leaving the Philly area in 2019.
The wonton soup awesome. Egg rolls the best we had in 6 yrs and the boneless bbq pork the best tasting. EVER“

“First visit here and they gave me the wrong order. Was annoying when we got home and discovered chicken instead of tofu. Tried to call but couldn't get anyone to pick up phone. Long story short it was actually really good! Would recommend this place ... just check the bag before you leave to make sure you get what you ordered.“

“On July 24, 2025 went to Cheng's with a party of 8. We had a reasonable 10 minute wait and were seated.
Our server got to us promptly with our drinks and took our orders. Our food came out fast and fresh and was delicious.
Half of our group had never been there before and were very impressed, and that's not an easy task.“

“I had been skeptical to try here bc i hadn't heard much about it, and there were not many reviews, but I found myself close today during lunch time l, called ahead and it was ready quickly . Got the genreal tso lunch combo . It was straight forward, good chinese takeout, just the right amount of spice and the family that owns it is nice . If I had to pick 1 thing to criticize the chicken they use for general tso has alot of breading vs chicken ratio , but it was cooked well and seasoned nicely. Will come back to try more:)“

“Heard this place has great food. I wouldn't say it's great. It's good, a little expensive for one person to eat there cost me $32.00. Didn't really like the shrimp lo mein, it was mushy. The honey chicken was dry, the crab Rangoon was good. No coke products, just pepsi and winn dixie generic soda. Needless to say, I won't be going back there anytime soon.“

“Always an amazing experience coming in here. The staff is super friendly and Joel goes out of his way to make sure customers have a great experience! Food is always hot and fresh! We come to this location every chance we get! Thank you to Joel and the rest of the staff for making our lazy meal retreats even more appealing! Tried doing survey on receipt but it’s not allowing us to.“

“The food was Excellent! Veggies cooked perfectly. We like spicy and they checked when we ordered two spicy dishes if we wanted mild. I will look forward to going back. Thai basil chicken was worth so good!“
“This is the only place I’ll eat at. Portions are very generous, food is always fresh. The couple that owns/runs the place are really nice and always happy to see us. We normally order the QT size portions and they are amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this place. My family and I will always eat here.“

“Ordered delivery through DoorDash and got General Tso's chicken, Beef with mushrooms, crab rangoons, shrimp egg rolls. Everything was perfectly cooked and amazing. I've had other General Tso's from other places and they usually overcook it till it tastes like cardboard, but this was sooooo good, just the right amount of heat and chicken so tender“

“My wife and I have frequently dined at the King Fu Chef in The Villages, and generally we have loved the ambiance, the staff, and the food, but I had been less than fascinated with their version of Mongolian Beef. Well, I kept seeing posts that praised their Mongolian Beef, so we decided to give then another try on 09/29/2025. Happy Event: Kung Fu Chef has redeemed itself! I have eaten at Kungfu Chef many times, and generally it is very good. But, the previous time I had the Mongolian Beef, I thought it was way too overcooked to the point of being burnt, but now they ARE BACK! Today the Mongolian Beef was SUPER! Great robust flavor, good aroma, plenty moist and flavorful, and a single dinner meal was larger than the two of use could eat for lunch, so happy event: We got to take 1/2 of it home for supper the next night. So happy to see they have the good chef back! By the way, don’t forget to ask for a small bowl of “chili oil”; their version of this sauce has many complex undertones without being too spicy, we eat a lot of it in Hot and Sour Soup, add it to fried rice, and in this case, to the Mongolian Beef.“
