“Was in the area i live in Sarasota but i always went to different cuban pizza places this place happened to be close to me and the reviews were beautiful so i came to El Recreo , i was pleased when I pulled up to be surrounded by beautiful green trees in this concrete jungle. My husband and i ordered, one chorizo pizza, a pepperoni pizza, a spaghetti a mango smoothie. I am always unimpressed by Cuban food in this area but…. He read over the receipt I showed him what I purchased on the app . It was totally wrong . But he made sure I was pleased when I left . He remade my pizza . I’m very pleased . “I ordered a square pizza, bbq chicken on half and pepperoni on the other half. The pizza was like a 3/5 it seemed stale, the crust was soo rough. But the chicken wings (sweet&spicy) was the best hands down chicken I've ever had. If I had only gotten pizza I probably would have given a one star review“

“On a visit to Tampa I decided to order in for the evening but I was within walking distance so I ordered to go. The default option for ordering is to do so through DoorDash (I don’t recommend)! Click on their direct website link! I accidentally selected no toppings on my pizza because the DoorDash website was structured VERY unclear. Luckily as soon as I arrived for pickup the servers actually asked me if I meant to just order a cheese pizza (since I’d accidentally ordered no toppings) and they fixed my order immediately! “They are open until 2 AM which is great! The crust is not pre-made or prefrontal, he spins it right in front of you. We had the Orr, pepperoni with pesto and honey Sriracha drizzle. The pesto was not overwhelming and the drizzle was the perfect amount of spicy and sweet. The Italian working there never stopped and worked quickly to fill orders. I noticed they had a Cauliflower crust option! Prices are great! Make sure you give them a try!“

“We were in Tampa from out of town. Our British friend wanted some American pizza. I didn't want us to just go to some chain pizza place that he could get back home (except they probably put marmalade on their pizza, or something), so I found this place. I like NY Pizza, I like beer, and I like records, so sounded great. And let me tell you, it was!! We got some pizzas and calzones, and all were excellent! There was great music playing and some sports on the TVs. They also had an excellent assortment of beers that we all enjoyed. Our server, Brett, was really friendly and helpful, answering our questions and giving us recommendations on beers. There was a large selection of records for sale. I saw several that brought back old memories, and I probably would have bought if I wouldn't have had to figure out a way to pack them for the flight home. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place for pizza and beer!“
