“Friends took me out for a birthday girls night. We didn’t think it would be busy on a weeknight but it was! There was a 30 minute wait, and I totally understand why. It was delicious and worth it. I ordered elderberry cider and skirt steak nachos - both so good! I can usually destroy some nachos on my own. I ordered a small and couldn’t finish them. The chips are freshly made in house potato chips, not tortilla. So so yummy!!“

“25 mins to get our waters and drinks after sitting down...and then our waiter didn't put in my husbands dinner, so when the food came, it was an appetizer and 1 meal. Awful service. The Mgr made up for it by comping our first round of drinks and my husband's dinner (that was never put in), but wow. I feel like I was getting punked tonight.“

“I've been eating at the NY Diner in Valrico, Fl. ever since Laurie & Jeff took it over many years ago, not sure of the year, 2009 ?, somewhere around there. Anyhow, obviously I've been a Happy Camper there for some time. The business has been sold, I believe three times since then... and I've stayed with the diner faithfully. This review bringing 5 Stars on Service & Atmosphere, but only 4 on food which is being gracious. Why?... Read on.............. My favorite meal is Breakfast of which there are many variations, mine being "NY Strip Steak & Eggs" of which I have always been very happy with at close to $20.00 or slightly higher that demands a $4.00 or $5.00 Tip... last of the Big Spenders? Ha!... what can you buy for $5.00 lately? Some time back, a year or so ago, someone in power changed their Steak Supplier, I assume to increase profits... yes I've asked, no I've received no answer. From that time on, the steak was loaded with fat, no bones, and outstanding in its length, width, and thickness. I must confess it looked delicious laying there in the plate. However, when attempting to cut it with the sharp knife supplied, (ugh) it was near impossible to cut. It was like trying to cut a soft rubber tire... the meat simply rolled back and forth with the knife regardless of from which angle it was cut. Anyhow, after extended cutting, having a few squares to eat... I found that the meat was, as expected, also next to impossible to chew, and was tasteless. In the time frame since the last owner took over, I have occasionally ordered this same Steak & Eggs order, perhaps a month or two between orders, hoping that the diner had returned to their previous supplier... no such luck as the steak was always as explained above... a waste of my time and money. I don't know how something on the plate could look so good, so delicious... to be so disappointing! My last time at the diner, June 10th, 2024, longing for a good delicious steak, I spoke with a waitress who has been there since day one so to speak. I spoke to her about the steaks quality going downhill since the new supplier took over, and asked if possibly the owner may have reverted to his original supplier. She didn't know. I decided to chance it... and ordered the Steak & Eggs breakfast. Upon having my breakfast sat on the table... it was indeed something to behold, BUT as I attempted to cut into it... it was all the same as before... actually worse! In thinking about it, I would explain it to anyone as a thick slice of rubbery meat from a whale the Titanic hit prior to the iceberg, possibly a dead horse that had passed away due to old age, something of that nature, but surely not a NY Strip Steak! Note that this review pertains to just the NY Strip Steak & Eggs breakfast, and nothing else. I will continue to dine there, eating all else from the menu, excepting the NY Strip Steak.“
“I would like to change my original review. Due to the way we paid, our bank had 2 pending charges, but it was corrected by the bank and not Bullfrogs' fault they are a great place for families to go for a good time. I do apologize for my mistake.“

“The decor is a bit outdated. They were able to seat us immediately and service was attentive. Atsophere was slight music and we could hear the conversation. The food was delightful. The menu changes are seasonal. So it changed from our first time.“

“I have been a long-time frequent customer and was very disappointed after trying their new online order process. There was no disclaimer the order would be delivered through a meal service rather than their own drivers. I received cold pizza and soggy wings nearly 2 hours later after the new delivery service decided to drive my pizza around the area fulfilling other customer’s orders from other restaurants first, this is after it likely sat at the restaurant for 20-30 minutes after it was ready for delivery. Had I known this, I would have called in my order directly as I have done in the past. We live within 5 minutes of the store and always receive hot pizzas quickly when ordering via phone. I should have noticed the increased menu prices and realized it was to account for a delivery service fee, but I didn’t. There should be a disclaimer on your website that online orders are delivered through a contracted delivery service. When calling to get an update on the delay I was put on hold and hung up on four times before giving up.“

“I had the pleasure of dining in the Valrico restaurant and tho my review is not all pleasant the results of my issue was pleasant...My mom and I came in for dinner after her Chemo Treatment...Our waitress Bianca was very nice...we ordered our food a Pancake breakfast and Pot Pie...as we waited some time we noticed that tables whom were seated after us were getting their food...well after the 3rd table was served I finally called our waitress over to ask how long would it be she politely responded I'm checking on it now...so I asked could I please speak with a manager...The reason being is that I felt I didn't need to address the waitress because she was going to continue serving us and I didn't want the tension between us...The manager came out can't remember her name I explained to her that we had been waiting quite a while for our food and in the meantime no one said anything to us of why it's taking so long...she apologized and offered us freebies to our satisfaction...We refused the freebies because we wanted what we ordered we didn't come to get anything free...To my surprise she was very professional listened to our problem with a pleasant attitude...Even tho we refused she brought dessert to the table..just wanted to say Thank you to not only her but also Bianca I will definitely be back again...The our dinner was amazing...“

“I have no idea how my pizza turned out, but that’s no fault of Domino’s or its employees bc my dumb-butt self ordered a pizza to my in-laws instead of my own home which is an hour away from this location. While this is embarrassing, I wanted to give a shoutout to Ryan, the delivery driver, who went above and beyond. Domino’s is less than 2 minutes from my house and when I became curious of where on Earth my pizza was, I finally realized my mistake and called my in-laws. Despite it being paid for and the tip included, Ryan still refused to drop off my order until he spoke with me as my in-laws told him I do not live there. This location (Douglas) offered to refund my order, despite it being completely my fault. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the care and honesty these employees put in. I delivered pizzas for years myself and I will admit that I would not have done what Ryan or Douglas did. These guys don’t get paid enough, so why bother with the extra effort? Ryan didn’t care- he called immediately. Douglas didn’t care- he offered before being asked (which I did not accept). This location will forever have my business whenever I am in town. Thank you Ryan for the effort to do right and to Douglas for telling me this review is the best way to appreciate Domino’s staff!!!“

“I’ve been going to the Brunchery since I was a kid and now I take my own kids there if that tells you how good this place is. The potatoes are amazing but so is almost everything else on the menu. The staff has always been super friendly and accommodating. It’s my kids’ favorite place to eat so I take them every chance I get!“
