Skillets Reviews
Waited at least 20 minutes for a table outside. They were crowded as usual. Waited 5 minues for Jennifer to bring us coffee and water. She said she'd be right back for order. 15 minutes later others were seated, and actually served. Our waitress rook the order fir a couple who had just been seated and then took ours. I complained to the hostess who took off our coffees. The waitress apologized for serving the other couple first. She didn't understand that we had waited an additional 20 minutes to PLACE our order. I never complain, I've been wait staff. The wait staff there has always been fabulous until today. She is clueless.
This is now our favorite breakfast place by far! The variety is fantastic and everything we have ordered has been really good. They have everything from healthy breakfasts to yummy waffles, pancakes & even crepes! And to top it all off the service is great.

The hostess and staff are friendly and attentive, making it a great experience for families, including children. The restaurant allows dogs in the open eating area and has a kids' menu. Known for their skillets and homemade corned beef hash, which is considered delicious and not from a can like most places, Skillets also offers egg whites and thick, crispy bacon. The potato casserole may be regarded as bland, but their strawberry scones, including the chocolate chip scone of the day, are popular choices. The space is clean and nicely decorated, creating a relaxing environment. Customers enjoy the friendly staff and the overall vibe, ensuring a good visit. Many appreciate the positive changes in the kitchen, with eggs and skillet potatoes prepared perfectly. Service remains friendly and attentive, with the manager often welcoming guests, making them feel valued.
