Nice find in Vero Beach. Home made bread. Sandwiches are made to order and are large. They have Gelato as well. Definitely would go back.Kid-friendliness: Not really a "kid place"
I was working nearby and I saw a house painter sitting in the shade eating a sandwich. It looked amazing. I asked where he got it. He said go to Johnny D's. Please don't mind the messy picture, I was half way through eating what was probably the best hoagie of my 35 years on this planet. Amazing cold cuts, marinated red peppers, and the bread....oh the bread... a fresh baked crusty roll makes this sandwich sing. I can't wait to be working in Vero Beach again. Cheers!
