“We are regulars to Muddies on Sunday am and sometimes during the week. Today I had the shrimp basket for breakfast. I saw it last Sunday and thought I would have it today. “Whenever we visit the beach on vacation, we stop here, and I will say that the customer service, vibe, and food is always 10/10. We hadn't been in 3 years until a few days ago, and it was still the same. We were given enough time to figure out our food order. Appetizer came out first and quickly. Entrae's came just as we were finishing up the appetizer. Everything was delicious and plentiful. “Crackers Island Grille- Cape Canaveral- 3-stars "Flawless execution will trump low-quality ingredients every time." -- The Big Boy "Where will I lunch today?", was my thought as I grabbed my random restaurant generator and headed towards the BBDO mobile. As the name scrawled across my screen, I saw I was heading up the coast to Cracker's Island Grille. Taking my time and enjoying the drive, I had time to reflect a bit on my job. Since I started this over two years ago, BBDO has grown by leaps and bounds topping out at over 14K followers across social media. I am extremely humbled by this and it steels me to continue forward. My GPS told me I had arrived and I found myself in front of a strip mall 1 mile north of the famous Ron Jon's Surf Shop and across from Golf N Gator. I arrived in the BBDO mobile at precisely 11:15 AM and the place was busy. Awaiting my turn, I glanced about the place and was quite taken in by the decor. They have a nice little island/surf theme going and this contributed to a very relaxed atmosphere. After a short wait, I was shown a table, handed a menu and told my server would be right with me. As packed as they were, I wondered what exactly that meant. It wasn't too long before a server approached my table and introduced herself as Brittany. Brittany was very prompt, charming and had our drink order back in no time at all. Along with the drink order, I also requested the Bouillabaisse and one order of the special of the day, Gator tacos (wondering if the meat was fresh based on the proximity of Golf N Gator). Brittany assured me this was not the case. I was sure this made the animal rights people happy, however, I was not. I have to say that first of all, Cracker's Bouillabaisse looked better on the menu than it did in front of me (see pictures for comparison). But, the smells wafting up were pure gourmand nirvana. With just the right amount of heat and all the seafood one could want, the flavors were complex, tantalizing and just a tad hot on the palate. The seafood seemed low quality (frozen, not fresh), but the execution was performed well. The accompanying bread was warm and slathered in garlic butter that added a nice compliment to the seafood stew. Dying to try something I never have before, I eagerly dug into the Gator tacos next. Wow. That is my professional opinion of these delightful tacos. Just, wow. Served on warm flour tortillas with fresh-cut tomatoes and cooked to perfection they were absolutely as delicious as they were unique. The meat was tender, juicy and extremely flavorful. The seasoning really got my taste buds dancing and there was just enough heat to make sure they were not only awake but stayed that way for the duration. The Gator tacos alone were worth the drive up the coast. Not that one needs an excuse for that. As I am sure my loyal readers know, I firmly believe that the only thing that matters in regards to a successful slop house and one that fails is execution, not location, not parking, not service, not interior design (though those all certainly help). If the food is good, as I've said before, you could open a food shack in the middle of the Okefenokee Swamp and people would flock to it. Make no mistake about it, Cracker's is not a fine dining establishment, they use low-quality ingredients, but man oh man you can tell the chef/cook cares about what is slung forth from his kitchen. The execution of all the items I had was done flawlessly, and everything was delicious, especially the Gator Tacos, those were unreal, proving once again what I've said ad nauseum, execution, execution, execution! “Amazing creations from our favorite, Chef Bo! The menu and atmosphere don't disappoint. Bo, Shannon ,and staff are awesome. So happy to have a location in Brevard that offers Hog Fish, which is hard to find. The menu has a wide variety and the cocktails are on point. This will be on our regular list of go-to places!“

“Cocoa Beach, FL. Surprisingly fresh and healthy salads! The menu’s not just hamburgers and pub food. They have a good variety of salads.

As a birthday treat, we came here to Cocoa Village as my friend wished. When we got hungry, Pub Americana met our health needs.

Their Wedge Salad featured Gorgonzola cheese, crisp bacon chunks, cherry tomato halves, thin red onion slices and blue cheese dressing over a couple little wedges of iceberg lettuce. It was delicious and filling and it met my needs for a low carb, lower-potassium meal.

My friends both got the Steak Caprese salads: Grilled tenderloin steak bites (a lot of them!), fresh mozzarella, grape tomatoes, Arcadian greens drizzled with a balsamic reduction. They were delighted with how good everything tasted.

We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh sea air. Pub Americana is across the street from Taylor Park, and beyond that you can see the ocean.

Like many of the establishments in Cocoa Village, Pub Americana welcomes dogs, so we had two furry friends sitting near us with their families.

Our server (short dark hair) was wonderful. They knew what they were doing, remembered all the details, kept our glasses topped off, and checked on us and everyone outside very well. This was on Saturday, 5/31/25, around 1:25 pm.

I recommend sitting outdoors here, if you can.

By the way, their bathroom is to the left of the entrance and you go down a big dip in the floor that’s hard to see. Both my friends stumbled a bit going down and up that section of flooring. They commented the incline down could be better marked with a warning.“

“My wife and I went out for a quick dinner and stopped in to Seaside Florida Grill. We had a very early dinner like 515 so the restaurant was not crowded and to our surprise, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the appetizers, the soup and the main dish. We both had one of their specialty drinks as well as a martini and they were really well made with a lot of flavor. The key lime sea scallops were cooked to perfection and were at a good temperature. The lobster bisque was a big bowl which I ended up eating most of it, but didn’t know how large the portion was going to be so I only ate what I knew I could finish my main meal. I had the surf and turf and it was really tasty and my wife had the chipotle muscles. We will definitely be back and try to pick a time where the atmosphere is a little bit more lively. The server was also very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Didn’t wanna leave her out. She was great.“

“My wife and I went to Dixie Belle's Grill and Bar for breakfast on Sunday morning. We've seen the building when coming into Port Canaveral and decided to pull off of the Banana River Drive exit, we're glad we did! I had the meat lovers omelette with a biscuit and gravy and hash browns. My wife had the two egg special with rye bread and hash browns. We like our hash browns extra crispy and they were made to order just the way we like them. Our server, Courtney, is the best! “We have a wild two year old who makes eating out difficult. We heard this restaurant was kid friendly with a water area for littles to play so we decided to check it out while we were out in the area. We had a great experience! My son could have played there in the water all day if we let him. We sat outdoors in a shady area and watched him play as we ate our lunch. Win win! I got the chicken Philly (minus the mushrooms and marinara) and it was great! My husband got the buffalo chicken wrap and also enjoyed his. Both were much bigger than we had expected! We probably didn’t need to order sides (fries and onion rings) or could have shared one side between the two of us but that’s okay! We know for next time! My two littles got the kids chicken tenders and grilled cheese. I’m a big sweet tea girl but kind of picky. The tea was good! 🙌 Our server was also great and very friendly!“

I like this because the private places always mess up something (service, temp, ambiance, food, hospitality) This place is decent for all of that except food quality and is consistent. You can walk outside here to the beach when done also without the typical bar crowd. If you don’t mind a bland, stale corporate breakfast, this place is the spot.“

“The portions were huge, and food was delicious. But customer service was fantastic. I have 4 young kids including a rambunctious 2 year old who’s currently refusing to sit still and eat. The waitress was so accommodating with him and brought us slices of cheese and then mandarin oranges to try and get him to eat something. There was an issue with the computer and my card was charged twice. I contacted them via Facebook and the issue was resolved immediately. Definitely recommend giving them a try!“

“It's a family friendly place . The food is amazing and Brielle are waitress was friendly and has a great sense of humor. I had my wife looking for a pine float on the menu and she couldn't find it so I got up and got a toothpick. Then she got to enjoy her first pine float . We spoke with Mrs. Jane who works here and has been at many of the friendly's locations. She is one of the nicest lady's we spoke to all day . And one other thing this place is 1000 time's better than steak & shake . They don't have waitresses and you have to order your food from some stupid kiosk machines. After the long drive to get here we didn’t feel like going out looking for a restaurant, so we decided to try out the in-house restaurant, Flamingos.
