“Walked in and sat at the bar, Clara was our server. Our food came quickly and was awesome. I had the Slawpy Pig which is pork bbq topped with slaw. Very tender great tasting sandwich. Clara was excellent and made our visit very enjoyable.“

“We tried, for the first time, the Lady Lake location today for lunch. It was fantastic! The service from the moment you walked through the door till you left was well beyond what I expected. The price of their food was great and the portions were large. It was super fresh and we found that when the crew lead came to our table asking us if we’d like a free sample of pulled pork, that it was smoked 14 hours the night before. That pork melted in your mouth! The flavor was really great and the different flavors of bbq sauce were impressive. The French fries are hand cut and fresh. They were delicious. They even gave us a free blueberry cobbler for being first timers and that was amazing! While there, the crew lead asked for everyone’s attention. He mentioned that there were two vets dining that afternoon who both were going to be 100 years old this year!! The outpouring of support, claps and cheer for these man who served was amazing! The crew lead thanked them and all those others for their service, shook their hands and you could feel the thankfulness in the room. What a great experience to have. Between the great food, amazing service and the true honor they show to those who served this beautiful county, they are a restaurant to visit time and time again! We’ll be back!“

“We dined there this evening. Wonderful food and very friendly people. They smoke their own meats with Black Jack wood and it is outstanding. Their sides are wonderful, just like mama meant them to be. There are other menu items besides BBQ, but that is their mainstay. The atmosphere is like home, very comfortable, and very positive signs in the restaurant dining area. These are very down-home people who know how to make your tummy happy. Super good place. Best BBQ anywhere around. We are from Texas originally where BBQ is king. This is better.“

“Artman’s is TERRIFIC. I ordered a smoked prime rib and smoked turkey for Christmas dinner. Plus, a ton of sides, etc. Everything was ready at the time of pick-up. The entire staff was extremely helpful and professional in the preparation and explanation of how to re-heat, serve, etc. The prime rib and turkey was BEYOND delicious. Couldn’t have had a better Christmas dinner. Thanks Artman’s!“

“We took our family from out of town to the Sunday brunch last Sunday, and I was embarrassed. We have been there many times for brunch and it was always great. This past Sunday was was not good. We had to wait for service to get a drink, the egg hot plate were empty and it took quite awhile to refill. The pancakes were hard, chicken tenders were dry. I’m not sure why it was like that because in the past it has always been good. The juice tub was pretty much empty, the syrup jar was empty and when I gave it to the young man it took it and walk away, not saying a word. The best was the prime rib, although it would have been nice to have mashed potatoes to go with it. The guy at the carving station did a great job making omelets and carving. It may be a long time until we return.“

“I'm so glad that we have them in the neighborhood. They are near me. I eat there about 3 to 4 times a week. They have a wide variety to choose from. Entrees, Dinners: Fish with sides, Chicken tenders, Country fried steak, Shrimp, Etc. Burgers Sandwiches You gotta try their Fried Mushrooms (Amazing) Baked beans potato salad Macaroni Salad Mozzarella cheese sticks I love the chef salad with grilled chicken The Owners and staff are personable and friendly.
