Arrived at 10:50am for a party of 6. Was told 15 minute wait = we said in or out was fine. When we checked after 3 minutes, we were rudely told table was not ready. Waited 45 minutes to get a seat. Asked for lunch menu - could only get breakfast (it was a Sunday). Table that sat right next to us got lunch. Server finally came at 12:25 to take our order. Went to Fenney for lunch today after probably a 2 year hiatus because of horrible service in the past. Today was much much better. The food was great. I had the hot Italian sub and enjoyed it quite a bit. Wife had the turkey club and it was good. Colleen was our bartender and she was awesome. So much better and friendlier than people in the past. Glad they got their staffing sorted and things are back on track.
Went to the Fenny Grill after golf for lunch. 4 people, with a 5th on the way. Restaurant not busy, but the front desk wouldnt allow us to be seated until the 5th was there. Hot and thirsty, we sat on the benches and waited the 10 mins or so until the 5th arrived. Asked for a table again after a bit, and were refused. The desk insisted that this was house policy. Never ran into that at any restaurant before.

The loaded bowl of chili is a favorite, and although there was some disappointment about not being able to use a gift card due to a new computer system, the excellent service made up for it. The restaurant also offers catering, delivering fresh, flavorful, and consistent food whether dining in or ordering for a group. The team is professional and reliable, making the whole experience easy. Fenney Grill remains a go-to spot in The Villages for great food and friendly service.
