“Just home from my fouth dinner at Mama Mia's with a group of friends down visiting from Rochester NY. Like my first review and my last two dinners (for which I'm remiss for not having reviewed), didn't disappoint. The food cooked Torino style by Mama, delicious, try the meat balls!, and Fredericka, Mama's daughter, and Gerald took great care of us table-side! Such a special new place! The fourth with many more to come!“

“Toppings is as close as you can get to legit NY/NJ pizza anywhere in Florida. And the legitest of their pies is the Double Hitter .... extra cheese, double pepperoni and fresh garlic. And while I’ve never thought of doing this before, I had them add onions. Wow is all that’s needed to be said. For those that know the Barstool/One Bite scoring system, my scores have always been right in the same vicinity of what Dave’s scored out of the places that we’ve both been to, so my scores are pretty on par. The Double Hitter from Toppings is a solid 8.9 👍“

Our waitress Erika made the evening! She was welcoming and helpful, explaining everything from the specials: cheese wheel pasta and tomahawk steak.

Atmosphere was casual and we had a nice booth
Service was prompt
Food came out quickly and everyone was so attentive and helpful

We loved the live music, it wasn't intrusive or so loud that you couldn't have a conversation over it, and the singer was exceptional. The food and cocktails were just as good as we remembered. Fresh is always key but the food is hand selected. Pistachios from certain regions. Pork chops of a specific type. Prosciutto aged 24 months. Top notch! For our mains, we had the Mussels in red sauce, Eggplant Parmigiana (do yourself a favor and ask for it with the Bolognese sauce—absolutely worth it! Thank me later!), and the Mussels & Clams in champagne sauce. We wrapped up with a perfectly done Crème Brûlée for dessert. The drinks are strong, tasty, and always hit the spot. “Excellent! Was driving up 95 and got an urge for a pizza and found this on the map. Once I found out they make the bread fresh for the subs, I went with the Italian sub. It was outstanding, so was the salad that came with it. I'll have to come back and try the pizza another time. Excellent service as well!“

White table cloths, water in wine glasses, it is FANCYYYY. But even us walking off the street (without a reservation) we were treated with the same attention & respect as anyone. What I assume is the owner, didn't hesitate to serve us, take our used forks between meals and replace them, and fill our water glasses when low. Clearly takes pride in the establishment.
