“I made reservations for my family since it suggested it on their website. My husband ,3 sons and I arrived and the hostess brought us to a table that was waiting for us! That was a pleasant and appreciated surprise to not have to wait. Our server,Jordyn was attentive and friendly she had perfect timing with drinks appetizers , main courses and desserts. We ordered 3 appetizers for the table and 5 different meals as well as two desserts for us each to have a sample of. Everything was not only full of flavor and perfectly prepared but also absolutely beautifully plated. We had a pleasant conversation with the owner ,Cindy, and she answered our questions about some of the flavors that we couldn’t quite place. We also discussed the history of the restaurant. It’s nice to see owners/managers in the dining area. We will come again soon and recommend this establishment to our friends and family. Thank You all”

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.”

I had to wait a few minutes, as Chili's is handling their own orders as well as orders for Just Wings. But my food was hot and fresh so I have no problem waiting. Fries were crispy, wings have a great flavor. My only complaint is I wish they were fried harder. Other than that, great value for what you pay, especially with wing prices going up. Similar to a Wing Stop experience, but for the price, I prefer Just Wings.”

“The Bricks Family Restaurant offers a buffet lunch/dinner with many options for the picky eater. Come early when the servings are fresh. The staff were friendly and the kids loved the tray options. Nothing fancy but a large selection to choose from. Choose the timing of your visit carefully because we have seen line ups here. There is a kid friendly serving area and beverage dispensing station. It was an upbeat and fun visit when we were there. We did find the buffet on the pricy side for what we ate but did not leave hungry. Enjoy!”

“I recently attended a private catered event at Flightline Cafe . We had a delicious buffet meal Salmon , Parmesan Chicken Breast , Sweet Baby Carrots. Garlic Mashed potatoes and tasty Broccoli and cheeses . Started the buffet with a delicious tossed salad with all the fixing . Washed it down with sweet tea and lemonade. The bar has top shelf drinks that keep you going back for more . Service was impeccable. If you ever need a place to have a function Flightline Cafe should be one of your top choices as kudos to the owners”

Can't go wrong with the basics like butter chicken or chicken tikka masala (my standard orders). My husband is more adventurous but every time he tries something new i have a bite and I've never not liked it.”

“Decent neighborhood bar. Seems much better than some of the stories I have heard which are all old now. Good service at the bar! And food (Hamburger) was pretty good as well. I was in there in the early evening and the crowd was super friendly and pleasant. You could hear some ribbing, which is on par for a local hangout, between some of the regulars. But really a good bunch of folks.
Pricing was a pleasant surprise as well. Especially these days!
I think there was one pool table and 2 dart boards. Not sure about other activities, those are what I like.

“The evening we are here it was uncomfortably warm in the restaurant. Yes, it's been cooler temperatures outside lately but this day it was nice outside. I asked the waitress since it was apparent several other visitors were also sweating along with staff & she said that the air-conditioning is broken again. I heard another waitress tell other visitors that the manager likes it warmer! Quite frankly, this was too warm! If it's true about someone wanting it warmer, you can put a sweater on, we can only take so many clothes off! The restaurant should be kept at a comfortable temperature for paying customers!”

And for what you get, it is extraordinarily affordable. This is not where you go on date night, unless your date loves authentic Mexican food. This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Winter Haven, and it is always a treat to go there. My only regret is that I don’t have a bigger stomach, because it is all outstanding and I want to try everything!”

I understand as ONLY TWO employees on duty. There were multiple people waiting for their orders. I applaud the two employees because they did an EXTRAORDINARY job in preparing the orders, but, were able to keep track of orders and maintained a pleasant demeanor despite the pressure of numbers.
