“I was a little nervous when they saw the parking lot because it didn’t look like what I was expecting. However, the atmosphere inside is great. If I lived in this town, I would be working here all the time because it’s got a perfect vibe for remote working. We have the bread and butter with seasonal jam and really enjoyed it.”

“Everything about this restaurant is great. If I had one complaint, it would be about the bread. Recently, they changed their bread from the brown loaf to a white loaf. The white loaf is not as good! It just tastes like sandwich bread. I really Wish they would bring back the other one, It had way more flavor. Still a five star restaurant!”

“I like the food at Sonny's, but don't go there often because the customer service is hit or miss. Yesterday I phoned in my order. Liz took my phone order, and made sure it was correct. Best of all she was super nice as well as efficient. Thanks Liz, I will visit Sonny's in Alachua more often if you are an example of the customer service at that location.”

“Tried for the first time this evening and got the sweet and sour chicken and beef lo mein. The quality of the meat was definitely noteworthy, both the chicken and beef were delicious and wonderfully tender.
From other reviews, I assume the owner Laura was serving me today, and was just so incredibly kind. Came inside to order and only had to wait 10ish minutes for everything.
Definitely recommend for the kind service, quality food, and nice family owned atmosphere if you choose to dine in.”
