“Another nice hole in the wall restaurant Mexican store. Very small and cozy. The owner is a single mom with 3 boys who were very helpful.I had tacos this time, chicken and steak. I added cheese and avocado. The chile or salsa was really good. Was alot of food for the price. It was very fresh and flavorful. It was walking distance from the truck stop.“

“I was treated to lunch to celebrate my 60th birthday and it was wonderful! Alma was our waitress and she made sure we had everything we needed. I love service that is attentive without being overpowering and this was it! My daughter and I split the nachos supreme and wow was it a lot of food! I definitely recommend and will be back!“

“Brand new to the area! Ordered the hibiscus/piña drink and OMG AMAZING! Sweet but not overly sweet! Free chips and salsa if you dine in?! Hell yeah! And the chips taste homemade and salsa is so good (a little spicy in a good way). The 3 street tacos (chicken, steak and birria is what we chose) and it was sooo good especially with the sauces they offer and it came with rice and beans (very plain but fine). The birria taco was AMAZING and we will be back!!! Yoselin helped me navigate the kiosk and answered any and everything I asked since it was our first time. She was soooo kind and genuine and helpful! Yoselin you did great and you are appreciated ! definitely can’t wait to come back!!!!“

“As I was on my way to the Fiesta Mexico Food truck to grab some street tacos, I noticed yellow lawn signs advertising Street Tacos, which led me to Queso Loco. This restaurant had great reviews and offered a unique experience where I could choose a variety of options a la carte. I decided to try the Al Pastor, Steak, and Birria tacos and ordered a Michelada to drink. Although the presentation of all the tacos with fresh garnishes was appetizing, I found the texture and flavor of the Al Pastor and Steak to be a little underwhelming. The Al Pastor meat was dry and lacked juiciness, and the Steak was slightly over-seasoned with salt. However, the Birria taco was the best of the three, with a good amount of juicy pork. The Michelada was the highlight of the meal, with a generous amount of tamarind candy on the rim. Although I could have done without the cucumber chunks, it was still a good addition. The $9 price for the Michelada was a great deal for a non-happy hour price. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Queso Loco, but I do feel that the texture and flavor of the Al Pastor and Steak could use some improvement. The Birria taco and Michelada were excellent, and I would recommend trying them to see if you might like other items on their menu.“

“This restaurant has the best Mexican food in the state, IMO. We lived in Arizona for 20 years and miss real Mexican food. My husband had the enchiladas and I had the carne asada. Everything was great. The restaurant is clean, service is excellent and food is great.Parking: Parking is tough. Street parking is the best option, but hard to find a spot on weekends.“

“Delicious food!!! Our favorite Mexican restaurant around town! Service is always excellent. Chips and salsa is yummy. Birria tacos are the best! Chicken dinner is a great deal and is enough food to feed a family. Includes a whole chicken seasoned perfectly, two sides, drinks and tortillasy.“

“It was good. The burrito I had was delicious, can't remember which one... chicken, and smothered with a cheese sauce on top. Friends got other things and seemed to enjoy- same burrito but with shrimp... taco salad... fajitas.. and I think Verde enchiladas.. salsa was bland, no spice at all... but added their green hot salsa to the regular red salsa.. made all the difference! I'd go back though!“

“Exceptionally tasty with generous portions. Was impressed immediately when we sat down, they give you a small jar of salsa to refill the ramekin, the queso was almost large enough to swim in. I had the Mexican ribeye (delicious), worth the 30-minute drive.“

“Really awesome food. Always feel it kind of a bit overpriced but that doesn't deter us. Only reason it doesn't get five stars is the one thing each waiter has seemed to not fully listen to our request with our orders. The is no issues taste wise or portion related. But, every time we go there we ask for them not to put certain toppings on our food and they almost get it right but there is always one of the few things on the food that we had asked to be removed from the dish. (For example please no sour cream, cilantro sauce, or guacamole please. And there will still have one thing that you didn't ask for on the food out of the three) but it's not the end of the world. Doesn't stop us from really enjoying the food.Parking: There is a lot of parking in the big field or lot across the street. Just have to do a little walking. If you get lucky you can get one of the few spots in the back entrance area when not super busy. Same with the front entrance which is on grove (it could be bay but I think bay street is the north side) street there is a few parallel parking spots only.Wheelchair accessibility: It doesn't seem to have a lot of wide enough spaces and I think there is a step or two down once you get in the door . I could be wrong.“

“You have to love little "hole in the wall" places that are easily overlooked. I was driving from Howey in the Hills the other day and noticed this restaurant hiding in an unassuming strip mall. Since my wife adores Mexican food, I promised I would bring her. A couple days later I made good on that promise, and we are glad I did. We were seated promptly and served house made chips and salsa. The salsa was a tad on the spicy side, but very good and shouldn't be too spicy unless you are very sensitive. I'm talking just that little heat at the back of your throat, and enough to liberate your sinuses. My wife had two soft tacos which she devoured. I had the Chorizo Burrito, which was huge! Seriously, it's a good investment, because you WILL get two meals from it. I had hibiscus aqua fresca, which I greatly enjoyed. The wife had Mexican Coca-Cola. I highly recommend stopping by. I know it won't be the last time my wife and I visit.“

“Wonderful! We had the tortas and the sincronizada and they were so flavorful. The tortas was especially great with their fresh baked bread, and the small size is still big for 1 person. Ask for the secret "crazy" versions which include all the meats! Small place, super friendly.“

“Lina's Kitchen is an exceptional restaurant located in a gas station that has left me with a memorable dining experience. Despite being situated in an unusual location, the restaurant has managed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a casual meal with family and friends. The tacos are simply amazing and truly delicious. Every bite was packed with fresh ingredients that made for a wonderful flavor. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from, which is great for accommodating all tastes. The friendly staff add to the welcoming environment, making you feel at home. The service is prompt, and the food is served hot and fresh. The quality of the food is second to none, and the presentation is visually stunning. I highly recommend Lina's Kitchen to anyone who is looking for a delicious meal in a unique and inviting environment. This restaurant deserves a solid 5-star rating!“

“First time at this authentic Mexican restaurant, and what a great first impression they made! Whether it was the ambiance, hospitality, wide variety of dishes or the quality of our selections, there isn't anything I could find lacking! My wife and I first, ordered the salsa, queso and guacamole trio, then ordered the same entrèe (Ribeye steak with rice, beans and a perfectly sauteed cactus. (YES, you read that correctly, CACTUS!))The entire meal was a real treat at the end of a long day, and so much so, we are already planning our next visit!“

“The place is not very attractive, neither from the outside nor from the inside..., but it is interesting from a cultural point of view. Of course, the seasoning is excellent and the service is very good! Closes early, doesn't open after 4 or 5 pm, so go early. I will return earlier another day since when I went they were almost closing and the options were scarce“

“Genuinely the best quesadillas I've had in my life. There are a few different restaurants in the area that serve quesadillas, but none compare to the ones I've had here, even outside of the county. You're missing out if you don't try the food at Tacos Chiapas. No question to it. The price is perfectly reasonable, too!“

“Best gas station authentic Mexican food ever. Omg it's so incredibly good. The reviews are not wrong. I had a delicious gordita and a sope both with the carnitas (pulled pork). My daughter had the burrito ? it was pricey but HUGE. I was just looking for a new authentic Mexican place, and I was pleasantly surprised.“

“I’ve been here a couple of times now so I can say the food is consistently good. I have a family of five and no matter what is ordered, all seem to be happy with their meals. Most times there is more than enough to bring home because of the generous portions. Not only is the food good, the prices are not outrageous. I love getting a good value. This is easy for me: I recommend this restaurant for Mexican food.“

“Unassuming corner spot where they will cook you up some AMAZING Mexican food while you wait. Plus, the market in the gas station has a great selection of traditional Mexican drinks and dessert style treats you can check out while the food is being prepared. My family of four will be back very soon.“

“Have been to this spot twice, spread out about 5 years apart. As far as the decor goes, it's a total hole in the wall, but it's clean with great service and the food is fantastic. I went today for the second time. The first time I had enchiladas and they were terrific. Went back today with a couple friends. Again, the service was terrific, and the food was as well. I had the Fish Soup, my friends had beef & chicken fajitas and a smothered chicken chimichanga. All the dishes were huge portions and really delicious. I gave a slightly lower ranking for atmosphere because they had the music blaring so loud, we couldn't hear each other at all.“
