Checkers is a budget-friendly restaurant that offers hot and tasty food. The staff is excellent and provides exceptional service, with customers praising the drive-through crew for their efficiency and friendliness. The restaurant has one spot for wheelchair accessibility, and the night shift crew is known for their fast service and great customer service.
The food quality is generally good, with customers noting that the food is hot, fresh, and not over-salted or overcooked. However, some customers have mentioned that the chicken sandwich has declined in quality. The drive-through can be tight for larger vehicles due to a fence and overhang, but this doesn't seem to significantly impact the overall experience.
Customers appreciate the restaurant's adherence to rewards programs, which is seen as a positive contrast to other establishments in the area. The only minor complaint is the lack of shade around the walk-up section, which can be uncomfortable during hot weather. Overall, Checkers provides a satisfying dining experience, with a focus on good food and excellent customer service.
