Sandwich Shops in Americus

“Sweet Georgia Baking is my all-time favorite restaurant. Period. I went to college in Americus, and currently live outside of Atlanta, and I have never found anything or anywhere that compares to Sweet Georgia. When I come visit Americus a few times a year, I ALWAYS make sure to not only stop at Sweet Georgia, but stock up on meals for the entire weekend. And also always take a pound of chicken salad back home. I am especially a fan of the hot turkey sandwich, the cous cous salad any time of year, and of course the chicken salad.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I would eat here everyday if I still lived in Americus, and I make sure to eat there, or the food I bought the day before if it's sunday, every time I come to town. It's a huge reason I am willing to make the 3 hour drive!“

“Imagine a perfectly fried bone-in porkchop with the fat even cooked good enough to enjoy on white bread, lettuce tomato, mayo and a little hot sauce. Heaven. I'm ready for Friday. Her hours are genius cause it just makes you want it more. Forget Waffle House after the club, GO TO TRACY'S! Staff is friendly too even at 3AM. THIS IS TRULY AMERICUS'S BEST KEPT SECRET. “Staff: young man was pleasant and helpful.Older woman was quite cold and almost robotic. Not very welcoming at all.Food: was superb and made very quickly. Tasted very good.Seating area: clean, organized and tidy. The floor is in the process of being replaced and busted down to the bare bones. Completed TBD.Probably the best subway in town.“

“Johnia did a great job taking care of me and my order. The subway app and the website limited how many sandwiches that I could order. I walked in and ordered 8 foot long subs and she made them all with great care. The website would not allow me to order a party platter as well“
