“I'm so proud to have this excellent Mexican restaurant in Acworth close to my home. They have the best Taco salad and sweet iced tea in town! Today I enjoyed the seasoned ground beef with mine-although the price of ground beef is up, this restaurant did not skimp on the amount of beef used, and the prices remain reasonable. Overall the food here is very good.and fresh. I'd like to shout out to Tyler Hawthorne the restaurant's manager. Tyler has helped me through the years put together some really nice catering packages for a few of my home entertaining events-these hot luncheons have always been a hit with my guests. Thanks!“

“The Happy Taco was a great experience! The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing. The owners and staff are very polite and are not afraid to have conversations. “This place is 10 notches above Moes !! My husband and I have been there twice now and I’ve tried the taco bowls ( Mexican style with refried beans ) and the beef burrito ! Delicious both times. He also loved the quesadilla. It’s a mix between Tex mex and authentic Mexican . Oh and the homemade salsa , verde is fire 🔥 And they have breakfast all day as well . 10/10 !:)“

Definitely better atmosphere on a Wednesday than a Friday- very loud on Fridays so it’s hard to have a good conversation (go for the food not the conversation).
Good and service were both good with lots of options on the menu.“

“1st time and ordered 2 of the breakfast burritos and I have a problem...they close for the holidays and don't reopen until Jan 2nd and I'm not sure I can go that long without ordering more. Football sized burritos loaded with whatever you ask and more salsa options than that 31 flavors place has ice cream...not kidding. I had to wait 10 minutes for the food and 8 of that was her telling me the salsa options :)“

We ordered the taco plate and birria quesadillas, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The flavors tasted authentic, fresh, and homemade. The birria quesadillas were packed with flavor and the tacos were simple but incredibly delicious.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely one of those hidden gems you keep coming back to. 🌮🤍“

“One of my favorite places for AUTHINTIC Mexican food. Never had any bad food here and I go about every other week. It does get busy about 12 b/c people on lunch break all want their amazing tacos or ANYTHING else there. The steak tacos are my favorite. Other than when they make the special tamales w the banana leaf. Those are the best I have ever had. Don't be scared it is in a shell station. It is better than 90% of restaurants. You can see the kitchen and it is very clean. They are always very nice. I don't speak Spanish and they are always helpful if I have questions about different food or the special of the day.“
