The plantains are highly recommended, and the empanadas are considered some of the best in town—possibly the only ones, but definitely delicious. The rice and beans are cooked perfectly, and the smoothies are a must-try. The owner and staff provide excellent customer service in a small, clean space with a great Caribbean vibe, reminiscent of the Dominican Republic. The tres leches cake is a highlight, and the service is quick, whether ordering at the counter or from the back. This fun, cozy spot is highly appreciated by locals and is a must-visit in Albany.
