The customer service was absolutely terrible! My family and I (a party of four) went in for dinner, and while everything started fine with ordering our entrées and drinks, things quickly went downhill. When the food arrived, my son took one bite of his meal and immediately didn’t like it. We explained this to two different servers, and eventually the owner/manager, Mr. Alvarez, came over to the table.

My family was well taken care of this evening! Service and food get a solid 10/10! We got Birria style quesadillas and when I say they were good man I mean it 100%!!
My family and I go to San Joes on a weekly basis. The food is exceptional, and the staff are very friendly. I've heard they had bad staff before but they've all been replaced. I truly recommend you give this place a try. Every time I visit the owner comes out and checks to see if everything is perfect. He's a good man, and he does an amazing job keeping the business going. Just left and I'm already ready to go back!
