About The Local 706

The Local 706 is an interesting mixture of the old and the new, the tried and true versus the experimental. The menu offers a fairly good selection of apps, burgers, sandwiches, salads, bowls, and wings. The inside is nothing special, but there are plenty of TVs to watch sports or events. The serving staff was very nice and friendly, but seemed to be a little understaffed at times.

Customers had a bit of a mixed experience with the food. The Classico Tacos were a bit of a letdown as they had almost no flavor, even after adding some salsa. On the other hand, the Asian Tacos were bursting with flavor but were unfortunately very greasy. The portion sizes were decent for the price, and the service was good, with the waitress being fairly attentive and the food being brought out quickly.

The parking situation can be a bit tricky, with limited parking in the front, but more available in the back. Overall, The Local 706 has potential, and with a few tweaks to the dishes, it could become a great spot.

Recent visitors enjoyed the bowls and the Athena salad with grilled chicken, as well as the mushroom burger with fries. The fried mushrooms with horsey sauce were a hit as an appetizer. The staff, including servers like Regan, Dovie, and Missy, were praised for being kind, welcoming, and excellent at their jobs. The owner was also noted for working hard. The atmosphere was described as nice and local, with a spotless venue. Many guests plan to return.
