“after dining at south kitchen in celebration of our second anniversary, my partner and i have found ourselves in a nearly catatonic state of euphoria. we can muster up only enough strength to write this review though, because everyone should know how good this place is.
the food and drinks were spectacular, but our service from reece really made the experience unforgettable. if serving is an art, reece is a true virtuoso.
definitely pricey, but if you have a reason to celebrate, south is well worth it. can’t wait until we can come back again!!“

“Debora’s Specialty Cakes did an incredible job with our groom’s cake. It looked amazing and tasted even better. They captured exactly what we were hoping for, and it was a huge hit with our guests. I sent pictures of things I liked, and then added in some very specific details that were a must have. This was one of my most memorable parts of our wedding! My groom was absolutely thrilled!! You have to see the pictures! It was seriously the coolest cake I’ve ever seen!
As well, the cake was moist, flavorful, and beautifully designed. It added such a fun and personal touch to the reception. Highly recommend for both quality and creativity!“

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. Brett’s specializes in showcasing the best of local cuisine, and it does not disappoint. I indulged in one of their signature burgers along with crispy French fries , it was amazing!
Service at Brett’s was exceptional. Our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in their work, and their enthusiasm contributed to a wonderful dining experience.

“Great restaurant! My wife & I weren’t sure where to go. I Googled “Best Restaurants in Athens, Ga”. Frankly, I had to scholl through 3-4 pages and Ossetian Athena finally came up … we’ll worth the wait! My wife & I had a great over appetizer, Mushroom Bruschetta, Caesar Salads & Salmone Al Pistacchio including an Italian Blend … simply outstanding! On top of all this, Drew, the owner, was a GREAT HOST! I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing! We started with the appetizer sampler, also had the Tom Kha, Tropical Fried Rice with shrimp, pad Thai with pork, pad see-ewe with chicken and a second pad see-ewe shrimp. Washed it down with Thai iced tea and Thai coffee. Everything was fantastic! We will definitely be going back.“

“I don’t think I’ve ever been made such a pleasant experience more than Josh has ever given me and my family. We went in thinking it was gonna be casual, okay service, good food, and were met with more than we can handle. Josh went above and beyond from the second we walked into this restaurant. His bright smile, funny humor, and amazing recommendations; make sure you order the Thai chicken tacos! it was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had from being serviced. Truly a nice guy and made the night so special for us. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the service again!!! Please ask for Josh for a great night!!“

“5 out of 5 stars for this amazing crew!! We couldn't wait any longer to find out if we were having a boy or girl. So I walked up to the counter, asked if they could make a strawberry shake for girl or a chocolate shake for boy, turned my phone over to them for a minute, and the whole store was happy and willing to help us! They even covered the top of the cup so we wouldnt know until we were ready! Ps. Its a girl!“

“The assistant manager working there was absolutely amazing !! She was so helpful with our group in giving recommendations on what to do in the area. They have a cute little outdoor area with mini golf and seating. The food wasn’t bad I got just the steak quesadilla nothing special about it. Everyone else really enjoyed their food! We went around 3 so no one else was there so the food was super quick.“

“Loved the vintage vibe, and I was surprised by the exceptional quality of the food at what looks like a typical diner...my Super Bird sandwich was made with real sliced turkey breast, not cold cuts, and you really do have to try their feta dressing with your house made fries!“
