For the Kimpton, we give the hotel 5 stars and is NOT a typical airport hotel. It is pricey, but very nice. The rooftop bar overlooking the Porsche driving experience was cool and the 1st floor restaurant Apron was excellent. Not a ton of choices, but all we had was very good. Appetizer of Brussels Sprouts was fantastic!
Not enough waiters, food is average, I was expecting better scenery with views to Porch trac, but view is limited.
The restaurant wasn't busy. Had a group having a birthday celebration and they were loud. It was a nice celebration and the were having a good time. Our server was kind. But she had too many tables. Appetizers were very good. But the main courses were not. I had chicken that was overcooked. Heard this restaurant was very good and maybe we just caught it on a bad night. But I wouldn't recommend this.

Apron restaurant offers good service and tasty food, making it a place worth visiting again. The menu features dishes like red snapper with garlic spinach and creole rice, pork chop with roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and Carolina barbecue ribs with asparagus and spinach. The atmosphere is great, with beautiful views of planes taking off and landing at Hartsfield Jackson airport, especially from the upstairs seating area overlooking the racetrack at sunset. The location next to the Porsche center adds to the ambiance, and the staff is friendly and courteous. Although prices are on the higher side, the unique setting and clean environment make it worth trying. However, the restaurant can be disorganized, and service may sometimes be slow or inattentive, with waitstaff missing for long periods. The food is generally good and comes quickly, but the selection for that location is somewhat limited. The restaurant is not very accommodating to young children, with no high chairs or changing tables in the restrooms. Despite these minor issues, Apron remains a pleasant place to enjoy a meal and the views.
